I'm an American, but I try to watch movies from all countries. I find this discussion very poignant, because the same malaise enters American studios, Japanese studios, Russian studios, etc. It's so easy to copy/paste, but in the long run, skills will atrophy and the studios will die. Kurosawa once blazed cinematic trails for Japanese cinema, but now only their animation is original.
I think India and Korea are raising up to fill the void of Hollywood's decline and I can't wait to see more! Keep it up!!!

The way I read this is that internet and OTT platform has disrupted the entire world. Now people have choice to see what they want to see. South film Industry has disrupted Indian cinema. I think Choreographer Prem Rakshit of this song was one of the first person needs to be recognized along with Keeravani. His choreography made the song so successful.

It's not about South Industry or Bollywood, it's Indian Cinema. However, we have seen many arrogant producers and heroes in Bollywood who doesn't respect audience while they can not act at all. Content is king always. South film industry produces highly content based movies whereas hindi film industry focuses on remaking south movies. The films like Kantara, RRR, Pushpa, KGF, Kartikeya-2, 777 Charlie, Jallikattu, PS-1, Rocketry became huge block buster. Big thanks to pandemic, south industry films reached all audience across India. Now south industry hero’s become all people hero’s. After few years these “ Remake” formula also won’t work anymore for Hindi film industry or any other film industry.
