当下，人类仍处在新生代技术时期，机器体系和生命世界结合、从而增强人类肉身变成了受追捧的发展方向。但有别于人类世和资本世主导话语权不同，克苏鲁世强调的是共生与共创，更新大地物种的生物多样性，使地球秩序重新编织。
该作品基于机器神话与盖亚理论，构建了一个未来的共生世界观。人类试图搭建技术神权政治，脑机意识体、异星探索、机器强化肉身、机械城市景观建造，新技术让人类世得到前所未有的发展，克苏鲁世为实现地球共生任务，反向使用技术再生远古生物，将已生成化石的动植物进行改造、进化与交叉繁衍，持续不安地更新多物种故事，重新平衡人类与非人类力量的占比。
At present, mankind is still in the period of new generation technology, the combination of machine system and life world, so as to enhance the human body becomes a sought-after development direction. However, unlike the Anthropocene and the Capitalocene which dominate the discourse, the Cthulhuocene emphasizes on symbiosis and co-creation, renewing the biodiversity of the earth's species and reweaving the order of the earth. The work builds a future symbiotic worldview based on the machine myth and Gaia theory. Humanity attempts to build a technological theocracy. New technologies have allowed the Anthropocene to grow like never before, and Cthulhu World, in order to fulfill the task of Earth's symbiosis, has reversed the use of technology to regenerate ancient organisms, and to transform, evolve, and cross-breed plants and animals that have been generated into fossils, in a continuous and uneasy effort to renew the multi- species story, and to re-balance the ratio of human and non- human forces.
