REST IN PEACE STEVE YOUR MUSIC WAS SO WONDERFUL
R.I.P Steve Lawrence. I love his music and his voice. I’m 20 and I enjoy listening to his voice on a daily basis👍.
One of the greatest voices of the fifties and sixties. Always underrated RIP
Steve was so wonderful. He and Eydie were a fabulous team, singing and in life.
Steve Lawrence & Edyie Gorme made beautiful music together. They're now reunited together.
RIP Steve. Will always love your voice, personality, humor and humanity.
Aww this one hurts! I remember this beautiful couple when they dominated the radio and TV when I was a kid. They always seemed so happy and in love. Stevie went to be with his Edie. May they rest happily together!
They were and will remain iconic. Gracious, charming, and amazingly talented. RIP, Steve and Eydie.❤❤

Great singer.Loved his music. His recordings of "Footsteps", "Portrait of My Love" , and "Pretty Blue Eyes" are just masterpieces.
Agree!
Best "Portrait of my Love" of all who recorded it.
Totally agree!
@@paulcooper8335👍🏼Absolutely!
RIP Steve, you are with Eydie again. And they are with their son too, who tragically passed way too young in 1986. Can't imagine the pain they went through.
He was the best not just for his singing but he was hilarious on the Carol Burnett Show
Rip....God bless his family and friends.
I got to see Steve and Eydie perform live and it was amazing. You could feel their energy even all the way in the back row. Incredible talent. Wonderful human beings. Beautiful couple. The best of the best. Pure class. RIP, Steve and Eydie.
I am so sorry to hear he has passed a Great Singer. But I will more than anything I will remember his comedic talent. His timing was amazing along own sense of humor and comedic acting. What a talent. Thank God we can still see him on the reruns of the Carol Burnet Show. Along with the other talanst he brought a smile to my face. I think hes was under rated for his comedic talent. I never heard a bad word said about him. May he rest in peace.
Staple of the 60’s and 70’s variety show type guest
A class act all the way!!! R.I.P.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I used to see he and Edie on the "Carol Burnet Show", They were so good. Loved his songs, Pretty Blue Eyes and Go Away Little Girl. What a wonderful artist. This makes me sad.
The sad loss of another member of the golden era of Prime Time television. Steve and Eydie were multi-talented. They could sing and were great at comedy also. Grew up with them on our family TV set during the 1960s and 1970s. Steve Lawrence could do funny voices too. Rest In Peace, Steve. You did great.
RIP Steve. my Fovarite Legend Song Artist - Tha best Thing that ever happened to me and Happy. and many more hits with Eydie Gorme...Gone but wil always remember on your Golden Songs
I was born in 1956 so in the early 60s were my , I believe, my earliest memories of Steve and Eydie. I watched them on tv when they were on either Specials or Carol Bernett Show. There were and in my memory still the best.
Sorry to hear
May he rest in peace
Steve and Edyie can never be replaced. Wonderful entertainers.
My condolences to the family
RIP Steve Lawrence. Terrific singer in his own right and duo with Eydie. Seemed to also have a flair for acting and humor.
Steve and Edie sang so beautifully together. There's nobody like them.
Steve and Eydie both gone now. They were wonderful. I remember them on the Steve Allen late show. A fantastic period of American talent culture.
RIP Steve Lawrence 😢🕊️🌹🙏🏼.
RIP Steve. We were in the Army together. Oops, I mean we were in the Army at the same time. I listened to him sing with the Army Band in D.C. on the radio while I was in Korea. 1960. What a great voice. Steve and Eydie's Christmas album is a must!
Rest in peace ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Rise in Paradise, Love forever.
One of my favourites, both of them, now Steve's back with Eydie and for shame nothing on the news at all, not that anyone of us here in my City noticed. I posted Steve's passing on my fb page and everyone is freaking out also not having known. RIP Steve. Amen.
I’ll always remember him whenever i think of my dad 😢 rest in peace and we will surely miss you ❤
They were the best .... I remember watching them during my younger days
He was one of the tweedledees in Alice in wonderland in 1985
I cherish the memories of having seen them perform live; got their autographs, at Westbury Music Fair, when I was a teen; I also met their then very-young sons, David and Michael, that day. I later saw Johnny Carson there, around that time (the mid-'60's), and have his autograph in my old, weathered, book. All three of these entertainers were gracious to me. I remember when Michael died, so young, in 1986. Five years later, Johnny Carson's son, Rick, died -- also too young. The friendship that Steve, Eydie, and Johnny had seemed to be a strong one, over decades. All three are missed by me, as I approach my eighties...Am grateful for these memories.
Steve & Eydie had wonderful singing voices
Steve Lawrence guest starred on the CBS variety show the carol Burnett show and
The tonight show starring Johnny Carson on NBC
Talented guy, gorgeous voice Anda fine actor. RIP
Aww my heart goes out to his family and friends 😢❤
A wonderful piece of the past..a different time that was so much easier. Rest in peace!
My heart is broken. He was a multitude of talent. I was only 8 years old when I first heard his Pretty Blue Eyes and was a huge fan ever since. R I P Steve.
