According to the website, student needs to show 20635 cad per year, so should it be multiplied by 2 to get two years' living cost or, should I add only cad 10000 for the second year living cost? This is what my agent said.
The requirement is you have to satisfy immigration officer showing you have a strong financial background, if you have a strong profile showing only one year living cost might be okay, but if you can show it for two years we highly recommend to do that.

Its reccomend to demostrate 2 years (full) show money.
With current situation, make your profile as strong as possible, not just for visa purposes also you need to have strong financial background to settle in Canada, do a good research about the province you planning to come, job availability, house rent etc..
