Thank you for posting this Tea Ceremony - very elegant, and a very good example of the True Essence of the Japanese Tea Ceremony - this Tea Teacher is an extraordinary inspiration for me. (Joy Mari Sato - my video is TEA AT KOKEN - posted in 2006 - in honor of my Dad, who was a Tea practitioner and my Tea teacher Soso Kawasaki Sensei - who was designated as a Living Treasure in 1976 by the Japanese Government.
It is like someone with a time machine and a camera went to the 17th century Japan and made a video . The greatest part is that this is not even anachronic to modern Japan.
Dear All of My Crystal Believers..I think those tea ceremony and Han Character or Kanji Character calligraphy or Eating using a Chinese Chopstick is a brilliant idea in doing moving meditation..We have to keep attention in detail of whatever we're doing..We must realize every move of Sang Hyang Widhi within our body, souls and mind..Do not do everything in a hurry condition..Just do it slowly..

Amazing video! One question: what are they doing before the actual tea ceremony? Thank you

Before the chanoyu they are doing Kodo, or incense appreciation.
