I just got my set of 57CR in 17x9 +22. It weighs exactly 19lbs on my scale. Doesn't beat the RPF1s in the same specs but I'm happier with my Gram Lights since I have a very iconic brand that I've been wanting for a while.
Glad to hear. I think people get pretty hung up on weight for wheels, but there's a lot more than weight. Rigidity, strength and tire communication on the rim are also very good factors. A large flange on the outside of the tire is worth the extra weight to keep the tire more rigid against there, or prevent the wheel from flexing.
Thank you, not even Rays website is listing weight. Everyone is so happy to hide weight while they upsell you this sh*t so you wouldn't notice you're overpaying for 1.5KG heavier wheel.
So I got some rays cr57 Gramlights from a 350z theyre. All four 18x8.5 +35 have rays and mono block stamp on lip, not on spokes are these fake wheels? Or did they not make the CR57 OEM wheels with all the ingravings?
I sell direct on IG, I don't use website anymore because people were ordering wrong specs often and then we'd have some issues to figure out. Now I prefer to to provide a bespoke experience where we 100% guarantee it works with each persons individual setup and vision. Takes a bit longer, but overall way better customer experience. Can DM me on @realwheeldeal on instagram.
It's up to the user. Forged you can shave more weight off without reducing the strength of the wheel, so if you really need the weight savings then yes. So for very competitive autox, every single part of rotating mass needs to be accounted. This casting method it's still casted under pressure, not gravity molded where its poured into a shape and punched out.
Can you pleaaaase review the new Rays Volk Racing TE37 Saga? When possible in bronze and 18x10.5 with arround 20 offset. Im wondering whats the exact diffrence between the "old" and new TE37 (design, weight, technic) Thanks for your great videos :-D
Hey Ral ph, Thanks! Hoping to get some in soon. TE37 Saga and the old TE37 has huge differences. They increased the rigidity of the wheel by a lot, and forged it a high pressures to increase the strength. Also the rim edge has "redot" cutting and now the rim spoke has volk cut into it as well. I'll make sure to give you more info when I get one in.
Tossing between gloss black and gun blue. Which one you guys like better and is gloss black hard to keep clean and to wash? Easy to get scratches on gloss black yeah?
They might be able to. I know the 18" would clear if you set the wheel weights, but the offset I'm not sure. But this is not a recommended wheel for GT-R, since its not forged. I'd try to go with an ADVAN forged or VOLK wheel on a GT-R.

Tl;dr: 18x9.5 20.4 lbs

Konig hypergram 18x11 19.8 lb
So odd to me that all the websites show much higher wheel weights until the wheel is actually weighed
And in 2020, these have become the standard go to wheels for the MKV/A90 Supra’s 😎
I’m new to the wheel game and all that but what is so special about ray / te 37s?
hi, may I know the weight for the 57CR 18x7.5" offset 40?
I thinking of buying some for my 21 Camry xse, don’t know much of rims but just want them in 19s and a bit wider than stock for more grip. Z
Will these fit on 225/40R18 Bridgestones on 2002 WRX?
Are you guys in here USA 🇺🇸 and where I can purchase the wheels? Please help I'm Seattle Washington! Thanks

Hey Peter, do you guys have center caps for these? Not sure what would fit well with Gun Blue II
DuckSauce we do. there's a few variations. Rays also has a new style for these rims
Would it be possible to see them on the wheel? Do you have a link to purchase?
Hey Peter! What site do you sell from?? I’ve been shopping around for wheels but a lot of sites are out of stock. Please let me know!

Hi Peter. Is it possible to use these particular wheels on a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Limited. I want to upgrade to 245 tire width as well.
Looking into it for you. The bolt pattern is making it pretty tough.
I have some discontinued roja r25 I’m going to drop on my car, was wondering on which lug nuts would you recommend, thanks in advance.
tuner lugs are fine
Thank you for your videos! Is it just me, or does this wheel look very similar to the Yokohama GTs?
Besides having 5 spokes I would say most of the facets of the wheel are quite different
I just got my 19" :) Nismo baby
Any info on these clearing brembos on the 3rd gen TL's?
Just purchased a set of eternal blue 18x9.5 for my TL. Now I gotta wait a long while for it to get here smh.
Did you get +38 or +22? Do you have brembos?
@MrRageHumor +38 and I have a 4th generation TL. Doesn't have brembos but the brakes are bigger than the 3rd generation.
Do you guys have in stock for
57CR RAYS 18x9.5
Gloss Black

What's the difference with this cast method over forged? Do we really need to go forged style for daily and some autox?

Any plans on Wedssports RN-05m rate and review?
Yep, will try when I get a set in!
Is the tire bead surface knurled/serrated?

No Almite Gold color?
Not in their standard line of colors.
they have it now
Damn I wanted these for my Q60 but they don’t make them in size 19’ do they
was thinking of getting a set on my Q60 as well....the Ray's website lists a 19" option...probably released after this video
get 57DRs
What’s the weight of 19s?
Just got me sum 57CR
whats is the best tire spec for this wheel?
255 35 18
Tossing between gloss black and gun blue. Which one you guys like better and is gloss black hard to keep clean and to wash? Easy to get scratches on gloss black yeah?
Which one did you get? I am looking for matte black. The gun blue looks almost black on the web.
Did you even get anything?
So do you own a shop we can order from or something?
Hi Brandon, we do have a shop but we are only authorized to sell within Canada and we aren't shipping door to door right now.
is 57CR forged? or cast?
Cast
I have them for GT 86
Nice! What year?
Does it clear bbk?
What is the difference cr vs dr?
Primarily CR is a 5 spoke, while DR is a 6 spoke.
Would these clear the calibers on a DBA gtr 2012

i want these
Is it forged
No, flow form cast.
Hes very confusing. at points he is saying two different things about the same rim.
damn these really arent that great of a wheel. theyre the same specs (weight, sizes available, cast) as RPF1 but 2-300 more expensive.
Everyone and their cousin has RPF1 though lol. I have the only set on an ISF out there and constantly get thumbs up
Is it fine to have 18x8.5 +37mm fronts and 18x9.5 +38mm? On my 2012 Lexus IS350
