Richard Beaumont explores Aura Secrets in Human Design. The 1/4 & the 4/1 Profiles and the BIG SMILE that accompanies both of them. They are two of six Profiles that are 'Harmonic' which Richard explains can create an internal tension when trying to live in a world as a minority of just 2+% of the population.
The keynotes of being insecure, investigative and strong or weak combine with the keynotes of friendship, networking and opportunism and in this video there is much to muse upon in what it means to live these two themes in very different ways.

Hello, I'm a 4/1 Mental Projector, Juxtaposition Cross Of Shock. I would love to learn more about 4/1s who have been so rejected and hurt that they have retreated inward and become very happy with being alone. How do I begin to see the power of relationships? I've never been a shy person. I am actually very friendly and outgoing. I STRONGLY desire a loving community. But my whole life has shown me that people are not to be trusted and will never value me so I'm happier alone than I was before trying to be a friend to the world. Honestly, the idea of it freaks me out and makes me very uncomfortable.

i’m a 4/1 also! I definitely went into isolation for about 4 years and I’m starting to get out into the world again. it’s really making me feel connected and know that it’s possible! I l have to force myself and set goals about socializing. Never settle for people who don't value you, choose your people wisely and keep being open until you find the ones who do. ❤

Im 4/1 with 49 cross of revolution. Changing the world from the inside. Still not sure what it all means but finding out I don't have to take anyones shit and am allowed to listen to myself is the best thing ever happened to me. From there I stopped attending spiritual courses and teachings and got on an intense solo investigation journey which lead me to Oracle girl, Human design, quantum physics. Thanks for your videos

The Juxtaposition Cross of Focus: This cross is about finding the focus. Logic suffers from a lot of frustration due to lack of material, lack of resources, and the 9th gate is very concerned about being able to have enough resources to focus on the detail.
But in this configuration, there is all this doubt and confusion, as to whether any of that can be actualized. In other words, the plan is beginning to fall apart, because no planning works without the agreement of tribe - none. Here we have planning that is entirely collective - three-quarters of it is logical, and basically caught up from the unconscious at the mental level. Thus, there is all this intellectualizing on whether a focus can be found. Is there something worthwhile planning to do, never mind whether we have the resources. So this cross is seeking out the focus. By the way, in the passive nature of the 9/52, things come into focus, come into view, rather than you trying to focus on things.
Both my mum and a more recent friend both are 4/1's. It was fascinating to have them meet. I just sat back and enjoyed the conversation/dynamic that was happening. A friendly, not going around the bush, contradicting convo where in my opinion saying exactly the same thing in different ways hahah. As you said all 4/1 you've met were unique. I would love to know more how to read each individual crosses. Thanks again for transferring your knowledge Richard!

After watching "lines that suck" I was about to turn away from human design haha (so many sucky lines!) Buuut...I am just getting started! Hard to resist a rabbit hole of this size. This was so insightful! I’m a 4/1 JUX of Values. I’ve been on my HD experiment journey for 4 years now, however the first 3 the lady I had my reading from told me I was a 4/6. My experiment as the 4/1 has been so enlightening and freeing to better innerstand why I am so fixed and so passionate about researching and knowing the whys to things.

Yes Shylah, I can only suggest you become an insider and educate yourself about what it is to be a Reflector. Get your chart read so you know the 'hidden' moving Design that you repeat regularly every month. Embrace the serendipty of being in the right place at the right time. :)

The only thing I feel could be described a bit differently here as a 4/1, Manifesting Generator, Juxtaposition Cross of Intuition, is the characterization that implies a lack of discretion from the 4/1's to discern the 'truth' from 'non-truth', risking an infection to their whole network of this 'non-truth'. I don't think this was your intention to imply that a 4/1 can not discern because the opposite can be argued with ample examples. Nor do I think you mean to diffuse that you yourself are the gatekeeper of what may or may not be defined as 'truth'. Also, I do not think you are trying to say here that this profile can not manage the concept of truth in all its complexities. Also, I take at face value the topic is 'truth' rather than other concepts like struggle, hardship, chaos, lies, deceit etc. Can I suggest that what you may be trying to communicate here is that this profile seeks truth, and given the various aspects of the rest of this profile's chart for each individual, will identify and attempt to isolate a truth of some sort from the interaction or the individual, in turn utilizing this knowledge where it is most appropriate within their network. If 4/1's are subjected to non-truths, they are likely able to notice this 'off-ness' about it and investigate further, but may still be energetically influenced, albeit temporarily which can impact their mood, and availability to others.

Rare as they come I find it hard to gather the information that fits my profile, so thank you for this one Im 2 yrs into HD, but had 4 yrs of deconditioning and 1st line studying. So crazy and interesting and it's changing my whole 4. line experience so much, it's amazing!
My twin daughters are 4/1 sacral generators, cross of control. They’re 26 now, and I have learned plenty from them! Interestingly, one is a natural networker, and the other resists it a bit. But it is fascinating to see how their opportunities do come to them through their networks!

My only problem now is that I don't have 'community' or rather, I have a lot of acquaintances but no close frienships. Personally, I think being a 4/1 is very lonely. I also like to keep a lot of my opinions to myself unless they're nice. So that's funny

I don't understand exactly what it means..I am also 1/4 Generator and don't know how to combine 1 and 4..because 1 is reclusive and 4 is with the networking, but I lack the network big time, only have 2 friends and that's all, and I don't see them that much

manifesting generation 4/1 cross of power....and my doughter manifester 4/1 cross of oppossition....how does that play out? Me I love investigate and my friends are super important but I dont feel like I have so many...as a child I was alone and picked on (had a very harsh childhood) and that must been hard for a 4/1? At age of 30 I became a pro athlete (very late) maybe thats one way how the cross of power can play out? Also became a teacher but now works as an athlete coach...like you say if some one says I talk rubbish...ohhh I do not like that..or if they say have you really investigate that or are you just make things up....ooops...
