- In this video, I review the third album by British metalcore band Bring Me The Horizon, titled There Is A Hell Believe Me I’ve Seen It There Is a Heaven Let’s Keep It a Secret. This album was released in 2010 and features guest vocals from Lights, Josh Franceschi, and Josh Scogin. The album is a musical and lyrical evolution for the band, as they experiment with different genres, instruments, and themes. The album deals with topics such as addiction, depression, religion, and love, and showcases the band’s versatility and creativity. I will give you my honest opinion on my top 3 tracks, the overall sound, the production, and the message of the album. I will also compare it to their previous and later albums, and tell you why I think this is one of their best works. I had this album on my ipod when I was was in Afghanistan from 2010 to 2011 and I listened to it on repeat all the time. I always loved it and it's cool to see it get some love today. My wife and I saw BMTH in like 2012 or 2013 at a tiny show in Hawaii where we were stationed at the time and it was awesome seeing them in their still deathcore/metal stage. Hopefully this next album is dope and they head back towards more metal focused styles. This popped up in my recommended and I will be subscribing to see what else you guys put out.

One of my top 5 of theirs for me. Lights has songs with illienium of edm remixes, she's still touring and is married to Beau Bokan vocalist in the band Blessthefall.

Saw them live in Sheffield 21 and you me at six joined the evening. They were amazing.
But seeing BMTH live a couple of weeks ago with bad omens was insanely good. And theyve added diamonds aren't forever to the set list. Noah sabastian came on stage and sang antivist with Oli. And that was sick.

really, if they play old songs like chelsea smile it never ENDS, they pray for plagues or diamonds forever, it's just that they are in more specific shows and not in the ones where they are headliners, mostly they play them on their tours regularly and sometimes they even play many old songs from their old ones albums
BMTH still play some of their old songs/ During the last tour I've heard Diamonds aren't forever, Chelsey Smile and Antivist. They often play It never Ends. There's a hell... my favourite album because of Oli's voice - I've never heard such raw emotions anywhere. As for the lyrics, English is my third language, so it's OK, I understand only 60-70% of it)))) But you're right, FUCK lyrics is cringe

Y'all HAVE heard 'Bite My Tongue' right? Funny, Josh Franceschi & Oli have performed it live several times now, as recent as 2023 either at Download or another big festival, BUT they've not done 'Fuck' live but a few times. Oh and I forgot, Lights the girl singing on Crucify Me, also is featured on 'Don't Go', which they've only ever performed twice ever, both times w/Lights. Never again. You wanna hear pain? Oli's performance of that song is unreal, the most anguish, fear, loss, panic, sorrow and hopelessness I've ever heard and also felt from listening. I'm convinced that whole backstory with his cousin killing that poor boy, just fucked with Oli so badly, that he began losing his belief in a loving God, and resenting, then denying the possibility, on to actively being angry enough to... Well you know the rest

On the topic of never playing songs from that album. It Never Ends has version from Royal Albert Hall recorded live with Orchestra and that one imo sounds sooooo much better even though original already sounds good. 12:48
