Thanks for another great video, Herbie. Now we know the answer to the question that you know we've been asking. Nice bike, nice price. I might have enough room in my side yard for a 125 ...
You’re welcome Todd, this little 125cc is a blast to ride, it is a good trail bike, not really made for jumping and stuff but boy it rips the trails really good.
Needless to say this bike is flamboyant I’ve been cruising around the block in campaign and it honestly rips! Great top speed for a 125 and super friendly beginner!
You are correct, I do have a Nibbi carb on it and it runs awesome with it. I did mention that in the subtitles. These are fun little bikes especially for as inexpensive as they are. Hope you are enjoying both your bikes! Thanks for the comment
Hi Herbie, have you changed the chain on this yet? I can't find any info in my manual on what chain I would need to buy. Also, do you know how to stiffen up the rear shock? I see there's an air nozzle on there. Thank you.
Hello, I have not changed the chain yet, but it is a 428 chain 110 link if you wanted to buy a replacement chain for it. As far as the rear shock, I would just screw the blue ring down to give it more preload. Use a spanner wrench and tighten it down to compress the spring and that would make it stiffer.
@@herbiesgarage681 thanks Herbie. I will try to tighten the blue collar. I think I'll keep the chain for now just to see how it works. I just heard that they would stretch.
@@flexconca Your welcome, yes the chain stretch is pretty normal, some are better than others. I usually like to put a Japanese RK chain on my bikes. I’m still running the stock chain on the Thunder for now though
Hey Herb, Who manufactures the engine to the Thunder 125? I think Apollo is the US importer if I'm not mistaking. It's sad that even dirt bikes with 17/14 inch wheels have tall seats. 33" is high for a person with 29" inseam. The only alternative would be to go down to 14/12 inch wheels and those bikes have a very short wheelbase which makes riding uncomfortable for an adult. Can the rear single spring suspension and the front fork be adjusted to lower the seat height without major work? Do you have any plans of converting this bike to a street legal? If you do, a conversion process video sure would be appreciated. And also if you could have a family member or a friend with a 28-30 inch inseam to sit on the bike so we can get a good idea of the fit for shorter people. As always thanks so much for all your efforts to help us out.
@@JeffBassir-lo6zj I will look at the engine when I get home tonight to see what markings is on it, yes Apollo imports it. I will plan on making a video with someone shorter on the bike, it is a pretty tall bike. All you have to do on the front is raise the forks in the triple trees so more is above the triple clamp. The rear would require a shorter shock absorber to make it lower. Getting the bike street legal would be tough. Putting lights and all that on it would be easy since it already has a headlight, a battery would have to be added too. But the problem lies in getting the state your in to allow an off road title bike to be street legal. Forget about it in Illinois, not sure about your state
The manufacturer is Zhejiang Apollo Sports Technology Co., the engine family is Papox.124blc. Hopefully that is helpful, that information is on the nomenclature
I got the 17t on mine herb and put a fmf on it man she rip only thing the motor mount cracked gotta get it welded im gonna do the dirt legal thing just waiting for my plate bracket and blinkers ect lol good cruizin 💪🏼💯💨💨💨💨
Normally the price is $1299 free shipping but right now they have a $100 off special code. So it’s $1199, a lot of bike for the money in my opinion and it’s brand new. Tell them Herbie sent you, and have fun and be safe

Wow! That little bike runs great.
It sure does, it sure up is an amazing off road bike
I own two of them, top speed with stock air box and carb maxed out at 80km. I’m pretty sure he’s got a Nibbi carb on that bike.
