SOZOPOL - Bulgaria - known as the City of Artists
👉Sozopol is a city located on the Black Sea coast in Bulgaria. It has a rich history that dates back to the ancient Thracians, and it has been inhabited continuously since then. The city is known for its beautiful beaches, charming old town, and numerous cultural and historical landmarks. Some of the notable attractions in Sozopol include the Archaeological Museum, the Church of the Holy Mother of God, and the ancient Apollonia Pontica ruins. The city is a popular tourist destination and attracts visitors from all over the world.
👉Sozopol ( Sozopolis ) , one of the oldest cities on the Bulgarian coast, can be the right destination for your vacation if you want a place where you can combine lying on the beach with other activities, but also with positive culinary experiences.
👉Sozopol is 34 kilometers north of Burgas, 69 kilometers from Nessebar and 163 kilometers from Varna.
👉The old part of the city of Sozopol is the most visited by tourists and also the part where you can dine at restaurants with a superb view. There are three main beaches in Sozopol, two of them in the new part of the resort and one in the old part, which also has a fairly large part of the free beach.

We still have a "debate" in our family: which is our favourite ... Nessebar or Sozopol ? For certain reasons we prefer one or another so we can't say which is our choice BUT thank GOD we have both :) If you know more old towns like these ( with this unique architecture ) please, please let me know their names. Thank you so much!!
@@tripout I personaly prefer Sozopol. It is the oldest city on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast. It also has amazing architecture and LOTS of history. There are many PHENOMINAL resturants and the Apolonia festival is breathtaking (It is like the national day of Sozopol, and there are parades, concerts, fireworks and lots of amazing music). As a person from that area of Bulgaria, I have a street in Sozopol I call „The Happy Street“ Because of all the things you can get:
-waffles, pancakes, Doner Kebab, Taco, Burrito, Donuts, Fish, Ice Cream, Gelato, Ice cream Balls (like very little balls of ice cream), Thai Ice Cream, Candy Floss (cotton candy), many other foods from the resturants there, as well as clothes, hats, glasses, jewlery, different tech thingies, souveners and many more! I also prefer the beaches! For me, Sozopol is the most beautiful and amazing city!
