Guzzlord always confused me because while funny as all hell it really seems like it’s a shoe-in for just normal kaiju roar sounds instead of **literally just some guy screaming**

Joe Merrick is such an evil and twisted person for making this crossword that with all the obscure answers from Pokemon Masters EX to specific Pokemon forms, Mega Mewtwo X was the thing to completely break RT.
I hope he reads the Serebii news after all this torture.

In my hubris I thought that this wouldn't be too bad since I've been a Pokémon fan my whole life, but the clue "Measures 1.3m" proved otherwise

Honestly, this crossword puzzle seems to be only fun in pretty much this exact scenario, a funny dad solving it with his hivemind child.
Otherwise many of these clues are just way to vague
Not to mention that there are not enough crosses between the words, so you barely get any hints from solved answers

This puzzle is so mean! I briefly skimmed through the hints, and I only saw one PMD related question- would have absolutely killed it if there was stuff like "always holds an item in My Fair Misdreavus"
Serebii has extremely incomplete documentation on PMD so it makes sense, but still... :(
(Also 9 down made me so excited to see since one of the potential answers is my favourite Pokemon. And then it turned out to be Patrat instead)

The thing about MegaMewtwo X is that, it's not a physical pokemon you play as.
You play as Mewtwo but once the bar fills up above it's healthbar (it gets filled up when you get hit I'm pretty sure), you temporarily transform into Mega Mewtwo X. The same thing happens for Mega Mewtwo Y.
There are two Mewtwos in the game. One is such X and the other is Y.
The Guzlord anime voice is something every Pokémon fan needs to hear 😝
