- Tessa Golding (Sofia Carson) is hired as an assistant by her Stepmother, Divine and her stepsisters, Olympia and Athena to accompany them to The Royal Lagoons Resort for an audition. The stepsisters audition to play “Cinderella” for Reed West, a famous singer, who is putting on a show called, “Cinderella-Live”. Meanwhile, Tessa befriends a makeup artist, Georgia, who convinces Tessa to audition as “Bella Snow” so her stepsisters/stepmother can’t get in the way. Bella Snow lands the part, but now Tessa maintain her secret identity and still cater to her stepsisters.

Phonytofu for cinderella movie , yes the one with hilary duff. But Austin Ames there is not really manly, and didnt really notice sam. What i like from this one is how Reed feels attracted to Tessa without she becaming cinderella... this is what makes me choose this one as a better love story line.

It'd be cool if, at some point, they'd shake up the Cinderella story formula. I get people will like this and that's fine, but why not make the boy Cinderella, like he's got this evil step father or maybe pull a Frozen and don't make it that romance saves the day. They did a story like that. But it's called Rags. You should check it out.
There's Rags. It's not too focused on the romance side of things. It's still there but I never got the feeling that the romance was the main focus of the movie.

But when the prince sees that Cinderella is actually the girl at the ball, he is apalled that he danced with a girl who is in rags, so he marries one of the sisters. Cinderella is heartbroken and finds comfort in the maid when the maid confesses that she actually likes Cinderella. And so Cinderella finds love, but not in the way she might have thought she had wanted love. But does it matter? Cause Cinderella is happy
