If you notice, a lot of songs in Crypt of the Necrodancer feature snippets of other songs in the soundtrack, and Disco Descent is one of the most frequent. Those are called leitmotifs, and dannyB is *very* good about using them. Hint - listen to Deep Sea Bass (Coral Riff's boss music) and ask where you've heard that melody before.
