Fish Korma\Machli Ka Korma\मछली का कोरमा | Step By Step Method Of Making Fish Korma - Eng Subtitles

Fish Korma or Machli ka korma is made using Fish cooked in various spices and a rich ground paste of coconut and almonds.
METHOD
1. Rohu fish - 1/2 kilo or you can take fish of your choice
2.For marination we need
Kashmiri red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
Salt - 3/4 teaspoon
Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
Mix it and apply to the fish pieces
Marinate it for 10 minutes
2.Now shallow fry marinated fish pieces in a tablespoon of oil but only for 4 minutes
3.Let us make a ground paste using few ingredients
They are
Shallow fried onion - 1 medium sized
Coconut - 50 gram
Peanuts roasted - 30 gram
Cloves - 3
Cardamom - 1
Cinnamon - 2 small pieces
Almonds - 10
Roasted coriander seeds - 2 teaspoon
Roasted Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
Grind them coarsely along with yogurt - 100 gram
4. In a pan heat oil - 2 tablespoon
To it add ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
saute it till raw smell disappears
5.Then add ground tomatoes of two medium sized tomatoes
saute till raw smell disappears
6.To it add leftover marinade
Kashmiri red chili powder - 1 tablespoon
Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Saute for few seconds
7.Now add the ground paste and cook well till oil appears on sides
also add dried fenugreek leaves - 1 tablespoon
8.Then add the fried fish pieces and cook for few minutes after adding half a glass of water
9.Then add water - 1 and half cup
10.When it starts boiling add
Few coriander leaves
Green chilies - 5
Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
Garam masala powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Mix well
11.Cook the korma under low flame for 15 minutes
12. Delicious Fish korma is ready
Serve hot with rice or pulao or roti
