As a multi-lingual person, videos about language by English/American people usually make me cringe because people usually sound so ignorant, but this video warmed my heart because you were so self aware and respectful.
As a romanian, the language very rarely sounds russian. Romanian is the forgotten one from the list of romance languages, meaning that a lot of our vocabulary comes from latin with only around 10% influences from slav languages, so it actually sounds more like italian, spanish, french and portuguese. We're only surrounded by slavic countries. But I absolutely love your videos and I'm slowly starting to really love you guys, you seem like such fun people to be around!!🥰

All of the Slavic languages belong in the same language group and stem from one common Slavic language, that's why they sound very similar to one another. Often times, many of them will get confused with Russian. 😂 Take the Balkan languages, for instance (the languages spoken in the Balkan peninsula) - Croatian, for example, is very, very close and similar to Serbian, only a few differences between them. 😊
This is why it made me laugh so much in the last video when they thought that Croatia was related to Spain, because it's definitely more related to Russia. LoL
Went on a holiday with a friend who’s parents were from Serbia. The place we were at had lots of Russian guests and she understand a lot of what they were saying.

Hi, stumbled upon this after lurking - as a Russian, I feel very flattered by that "in charge" comment, so thank you guys for it. It's a bit of a mess of a language when compared to English at times (I've been learning both my whole life - Russian being my native, but I was introduced to English when I was less than a year old, so the two languages are really tangled in my head lol) but it has its own moments for sure.
You guys did great! I grew up in the US, and I feel like we're sadly not exposed to different languages as much to recognize them. Very impressed with you guys!
I loved your genuine delight listening to all these beautiful languages! I agree, English speakers are missing out on so much by not learning other languages.
It is so hard to tell the Slavic languages apart!! They seem so similar but yet so distinct at the same time it’s really hard to explain. I’ve always thought they were so beautiful and was always jealous compared to my boring Canadian English lol
Seeing you guys suffer with my language was so funny! I'm a colombian spanish speaker btw 😉 If you want, check out Sebastian Yatra, the early stuff by Shakira, Carol G and Carlos Vives

Exactly! Thank you!
When they started I was so shocked to hear Croatian!
Love from Bosnia 🧡
Love all of you Ashton, Marcus, Robert and James!!! Your videos help me forget about my back pain. I’ve had several surgeries. You make me laugh so hard!! If I’m having a bad day all I have to do is put on one of your videos and I forget all about it. Thank you for being you and please keep making videos. ☺️🤪
Feel better hun
After I gave birth I fell into a temporary severe depression thanks to the hormones, and the Welsh brothers three were the only thing I enjoyed for a few weeks. Literally helped me through it.
@@carameldare I’m glad you got through your depression. I hope you didn’t suffer with it for too long. I know what you’ve been through. It’s no fun to live with depression or be in constant pain which causes the depression for me but the Welsh brothers and Ashton have helped me soooo much. I love the captions Ashton adds to the videos. Let alone how Marcus edits the videos. Lol They are hilarious! I think some of my favorite videos are the Halloween ones especially the one where poor Robert was scared half to death! Lol I also love the videos where James attempts to do Robert’s makeovers. The Princess one literally almost made me pee my pants! Lol I love how Robert tells James at the end of the video, “Do you think I’m going to talk to you after this?” I die!!! 😂😂😂 I could go on and on about all the videos I love and have seen at least 40 times and counting. No joke. I’m glad you’re better and I wish you the best ☺️
@@MarcusWelsh thank you Marcus! Keep up the great work! I love how you edit these videos. They are hilarious!! I’m going to have to start wearing diapers before I watch your videos hehe 😜 so I don’t pee my pants lol 🤣 🤣😂 I appreciate you all so much. Thank you for responding to me!
I wish I had learned of this, I would have loved to introduce them to Cajun French :D
So happy there was Finnish too, I was too shy to send my own voice -.- (==kiitos sinulle joka sen teit!==) Guys I was surprised you guessed Finnish right!
I love that when I’m having a bad morning, I can just put on The Twins and; just the laughs alone; they make it better. Thank you both.
Love, Light and Happiness
Beatriz should've said "Brazilian Portuguese" because i had a freaking heart attack when the Portuguese flag appeared and now I'm dead.
I'm typing this from heaven
Same here! 🇵🇹
I know right? My little portuguese heart!! I had to pause 😭🤣 Mas eles não sabiam que Portugal era na Europa, faz sentido ahaha
"I'm typing this from heaven" 😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂 eu também fiquei para morrer 🇵🇹
Hahahaha concordo! O coitado do Marcus não tinha como saber de ouvido.
Best welsh twins episode ever! I love semantics and how every language sounds!
You guys did great!!! I got a handful right. Only the ones we learned in school. 😂 This was HILARIOUS!!! 👍🏻💖
You guys did great! I grew up in the US, and I feel like we're sadly not exposed to different languages as much to recognize them. Very impressed with you guys!
Yes, sadly I only recognized the name Jackie in all of them 😄. Well also the Spanish languages.
You both are so very wonderful 💕and of course Marcus also💕
Hearing my own language in this made me smile, and hearing "I just want to sound like it"
I loved your genuine delight listening to all these beautiful languages! I agree, English speakers are missing out on so much by not learning other languages.
Croatian is a slavic language same as Russian. So it makes sense you made that mistake, a lot of people do! Thank you for saying its beautiful 🤗♥️🇭🇷
It is so hard to tell the Slavic languages apart!! They seem so similar but yet so distinct at the same time it’s really hard to explain. I’ve always thought they were so beautiful and was always jealous compared to my boring Canadian English lol
@@lj0727 I agree. For some reasons, I thought the Polish recording was Ukrainian for some reasons.
Omg please do this again I’m ready💪🏻❤️
Can't wait for this! Favourite day of the week! 😂
BEST WELSH TWINS VIDEO, soooo fun !!!!!!
These two beautiful souls make me Sunday evenings 💚😆
Seeing you guys suffer with my language was so funny! I'm a colombian spanish speaker btw 😉
If you want, check out Sebastian Yatra, the early stuff by Shakira, Carol G and Carlos Vives
OH MY GOD JAMES LISTENED TO TATU??? I'm Russian and I listened to them when I was a teen and my heart melted at that moment! Love and hugs from русская душа
This was so entertaining, and wonderful to hear so many beautiful languages. Also I laughed so much my nose made a snot bubble. You did much better at guessing than me I was quite rubbish.
I absolutely love the positive messages that these two send out into the world, they are the best 💜 loveeyouu guys
Not Robert fanning himself after the French guy 😂😂 I love you ! ❤️💕
