"When a man finds a wife, he finds a good thing." Proverbs 18. Sounds good, right? But if she's not a wife when you 'find' her, don't waste time trying to turn her into one. Some women aren't worth the effort. In biblical references, being a wife was a JOB. You had to WORK. You had to know your role. Your responsibility was to maintain the home, have children and raise them to survive. That's a full-time job. In exchange, the man protected and provided for you and the children. Nowadays, women twist the meaning of this statement to receive constant unwarranted praise for simply existing. For simply showing up. That's not a wife. That's a narcissist that needs therapy.

Why are women who are chefs, maids, and nannies more respected than women who stay home to cook, clean, and raise kids? Because they do it for a paycheck instead of for love, and this world worships money.
“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”

It’s essential everyone stays in their roll. The problem is that we downplay and degrade the contributions traditional marriages play in our society. A women that stays at home and takes care of the kids so the man can provide is essential. She is the bedrock of that family and what keeps the family running smoothly. She is every bit as important as the man, she simply plays a different role in the family, and by taking care of the family she allows the man to function at his best so he can provide the best possible for that family. Marriage is a circle. Men and women are each halves of that circle. They are opposite, they are different, and that’s ok, because where one person’s strengths fail, the other person strengths begin, and no circle is complete or sound without both sides.

That is why a lot of anti-feminists and “red pill” men borrow Eastern concepts to make their arguments against modern Western women and feminism. We often hear them say that promiscuous women do not respect their body. The idea that modesty is about respecting your body is a very Indian and Saivite thing. In Abrahamic cultures, modesty is about purity and morality rather than respecting the body. The Abrahamic religions say that one should not sleep around because it is an impure or immoral behaviour, they don't say that it is disrespectful to your body when you sleep around. Not sleeping around out of respect for your body is a very Indian or Saivite worldview because the body is used for doing kundalini yoga and meditation and to worship the supreme god Siva. The body is seen as an instrument of spirituality rather than an instrument of pleasure. The body is sacred in the Indian yogic or Saivite culture.
The "respect your body" argument simply won't work in Western cultures because they would argue that they are respecting their body by giving in to their body's sexual urges. They might argue that not having casual sex and restricting oneself to just one partner or waiting until marriage to have sex is disrespectful to the body as you would be restricting its urges. There are a lot of men from the anti-feminist “red pill” movement who use the argument that modern women do not respect their bodies because they are promiscuous. Some of the “red pill” arguments seem to be heavily influenced by the Eastern cultures. The “red pill” men often complain how Western women and feminists are bad and lament the deterioration of Western culture and society.
In Western culture, one’s body is meant for enjoying sensual pleasures such as food and sex rather than for spiritual purposes. In Indian Saivaite communities we use our bodies for spiritual purposes such as kundalini yoga and meditation and worship of our god Siva. In such cultures, people, both men and women, don't eat meat or sleep around because such actions would pollute and defile their bodies. In cultures influenced by Abrahamic religions, people are taught that it is immoral to sleep around. It becomes problematic when people start questioning why it is immoral to sleep around and reach the conclusion that it is not immoral after all. In Western cultures, modesty is not about respecting your body but accepting the puritanical values of Abrahamic religion. So, the Western women rebel against such restrictive notions about their bodies and crave the power to take control of their bodies by sleeping around. It is interesting how the “red pill” men or the anti-feminists in the West have been borrowing concepts from the East to make their arguments against the modern Western women.

And women would get better jobs and still there's this pressure on them to provide and be head of family and all the traditional stuff they have in the East so they found it very unfair and one of the reasons why they get married later in life and Korea has a very low birth rate which could get them extinct a few decades from now.

I was out on battlefield fighting to get US things WE wanted. But she served a very very important roll. Not just raising the kids. She was back-up support, logistics for me. An army can't function w/o all the support behind the lines. I could concentrate on battling the world. My job was on call 24/7/365. Great $. But a lot of sacrifice on her part too. It meant we didn't have to pay others. I'm pretty handy too. So I could fix build repair anything. So we kept more of OUR $. It wasn't my $/her$. It was OUR $. OUR home. OUR kids. OUR life.

I lived in South Korea for a year and half, still to this day the best time of my life. I'm really thinking about going back. I met some wonderful women. I was in the military and people kept telling me "not" to meet any women over there. I regret not wifing up somebody over there. I'm definitely thinking about going back.

I have a friend who married a Korean woman & out of everyone I know, they’re relationship seems to be the best. If they ever have any issues, I never see them and they always seem to be enjoying their marriage. I asked him what made him wife her up so to speak and he told me how it was just different. He felt like a man with her and that made him want to do things for her. All in all I’d say that’s a great partner

This is a gem 💎 thanks. I truly believe that in order to see any improvement in our relationships in the future we would have to unlearn everything that society has taught us. Unfortunately our attitude towards each other in the western world is so entrenched leave me to believe that there is very little hope for our future.

I cooked and had a spotless house and my Husbands dinner was on the table for him every day after work. He cheated on me and had a two year affair with a 19yr old for two years as I had postnatal depression and chronic pain which was also brought on by pregnancy. What did I do wrong? It was my fault that I got these conditions ?

I am totally sick and exhausted today. I wanted noting more than to curl up in a chair, numb my brain with youtube videos, and shut down. I scraped my ass out of the chair and cleaned the whole house. (I still have to vacuum and mop the bathroom) Next, I'm going to crawl to the bathroom to take a shower. I'm freezing cold and I don't want to, but I WILL FEEL BETTER after I do. I know this. Already it feels better to be sick in a tidy house than a disaster. Sometimes you have to fake it until you make it.
