    Not trying to be that guy but you made a mistake at 33:41. You said going into the 2009 World Series was the Yankees first World Series appearance since losing to Arizona in 2001, which isn’t true since the last World Series the Yankees appeared in before the ‘09 series was in 2003 when the lost to the marlins

      Seeing as Jeter was a made man in NY and the captain of the team, obviously A-Rod was going to be shifted. I do like Alex, but he has no one to blame but himself for why his career became disgraced.

    Honestly screaming I got it while baserunning is an elite level play. I don’t see that any different than the hidden ball trick. It’s disingenuous and brilliant all at the same time. Learn your teammates voice you play over 160 games with them each year

    I get that SS is the biggest market when marketing players and jeter is a world renowned SS but he was a HUGE liability at SS and should’ve moved to 2nd and would’ve been better defensively and kept arod at SS

    Arod was a MUCH MUCH MUCH better overall player than Jeter. Jeter was nails and couldn’t be shook by pressure but Alex was a force on both sides, defense and offense. Better power hitter and stronger. Taking nothing away from Jeter.

      Jeter was a D fielder and a B batter treated like an S-tier player despite putting up A-tier numbers in only a few seasons. But he was an important player, leader and his postseason performance was almost always great while A-Rod was mediocre or average in 6 of his last 7 postseasons.

      Honestly the demand that athletes be restricted from drugs that would help repair their bodies and stay healthy longer is ridiculous and backwards. We arbitrarily draw the line at a certain type of substance based on random tradition and a status quo frozen in the past.

    As Yankees fan i love Alex. (I was so happy when he joined us instead of Boston)
    The funniest thing about this story is how bad Alex was at lying and being deceptive/disingenuous. (One of the worst actors i ever seen)
