- Here are a few more tips for preventing blisters on the heel of your Doc Martens:
Make sure your boots are the right size. The best way to do this is to try on your boots in a store before you buy them and walk around in them to ensure they fit properly.
Break in your boots gradually. This means wearing them for short periods of time at first and gradually increasing the amount of time you spend in them. This will help the boots mold to your feet and reduce the likelihood of blisters.
Wet the inside of your boots with shoe stretch spray or shoe shampoo and let them dry in the correct shape. This can help the boots mold to the shape of your feet and reduce the likelihood of blisters. Use a jar or similar to hold them in shape while they dry.
Use blister-preventing products. There are many products on the market that can help prevent blisters, such as blister pads and band aids. Apply these products to the areas of your feet that are most likely to develop blisters, such as the heel and the toes.
Pay attention to your socks. Wearing the right socks can make a big difference when it comes to preventing blisters. Try to find ones without bulky seams and test a few sorts to see what works for you.
Overall, it's important to take care of your Doc Martens and your feet in order to prevent blisters. By following these tips, you can help ensure that your boots are comfortable and blister-free.

Thank you and good luck.
@@shanesshoerepairs This is what every Doc Martens wants & needs to repair
Electrical tape works, too. Place a couple of straps over the part that is rubbing. Works wonders
Good plan, just remember you may need acetone or similar later to get the residue off the leather inside. Medical wipes can work well.
Thanks for the tip! ❤️
👍 cool buddy will try got massive blisters from mine, yrs ago where there 9 ups and 10 ups and what highest shoe laces come to ive seen boots that came almost to knee and they looked like Doc's
THANK YOU
Doc Martens are the most iconic footwear in the World! 😇💪♥️
thanks!
Now how do i get my docs to stop squeaking 😂😂 my last 3 pairs squeak so much
Find the bit that is moving. Then either glue it or lube it. Use talcum powder or shoe polish for lube.
@@shanesshoerepairs thank youu!!
My problem with docs is the soles on the heeled ones which after a while poke into your feet so you feel you are walking on nails.
They should change the soles of the heeled shoes to rubber instead of the current tread
That is exactly the problem i have with my docs. But i have the annocing shine type so i don't think I can hammer it without damage.
WIth a smooth round faced shoe hammer your local cobbler will be able to put it on a last an give it a firm but gentle tap.
oh my god thank you
Or buy quality boots... 😉😉
???
docs only ever seem to wear in as they wear out.
I’ve cut the stitching at that point to stop it rubbing
Nice one! You could bring the ends of the thread to the outside and melt work lighter to stop them unraveling.
Aye it works wonders for similar styles boots too!
How do I fix a squeaky sole on a Merrell hiking mid boot ?
Fixing a squeaky boot is the easy bit ... finding the squeak is the hard part. Once you have located it either glue it so it doesn't move or lube it so it moves quietly.
To find the squeak work out which boot, front or back and then remove laces and insoles and keep testing till you locate it.
If it's a sneaky squeak it could be in between the layers around the shank at the back of the boot. Best to take to your cobbler. But if you must ... dig deeper with a flat bladed screwdriver and then once you find loose layers add glue and clamp till set or let get tacky while open then clamp.
vaseline works for me
On the bone just below my pinky toe it hurts the most. And it’s only on my right foot. I got the right size it just squeezes my toes together. I don’t have to much of a wide foot either. What can I do about that?
If the insole is removable try it for fit without the insole.
Very complicated process
Take to your nearest shoe repairer for help. Good luck ... and say Hello to them for me :-)

Take care. Clean out carefully. Wrap in paper and dispose of glass.
@@shanesshoerepairs it's cool, I was kidding. The video made me think of hammering down stitches with a glass jar as an anvil.
