i was screaming at the screen when you said you didn’t have a book with a six word title because alone with you in the ether is literally my favorite book of all time and it was right there 😩 edit: nvm she picked it later for a different prompt
I love the Uglies series!!!! Read it in school when divergent was popular. Definitely want to reread it plus that cover is so much nicer than the US covers
Rachel you NEED to read tomorrow x3!!! The story is so rich and I was reading it and I felt like I was THERE. It brought out so many different emotions out of me, and there was a section of the book that was written in a style I've never seen before and it was insane. There's no doubt you'll love it!! I hope you get to it soon !!
Currently reading "Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow" and surprisingly I'm loving it! It's easy to read, beautiful quotes, and not too gamey (coming from someone who doesn't play video games). I'm 3/4 of the way through and I recommend it!
tomorrowx3 starts off really strong and i think you’ll get into it easily! i really enjoyed it and based on other books that you’ve read, i really dont think it’ll be scary for you once you start it!
Also reading Chain of Thorns this month. There is actually going to be one more series by Cassandra Clare before she's done with the Shadowhunter world and the last book in the Eldest Curses series. So she's got 4 books left. I don't know she's currently taking a break for who knows how long.
I am so excited for you to get to once upon a broken heart soon!! I just read it and am feeling all of the feelings. So excited for people to get to read the series for the first time! 💗💗💗
The uglies series is so good! I read it several years ago and remember loving it. The fourth book is a little bit set apart for the other three and has más toy new characters from what I remember!
I honestly can't wait to hear your thoughts on Chain of Throns! And there is one main series coming in the Shadowhunter world, "The Wicked Powers", it is set after The Dark Artificas😊 I am reading Cc1 right now 😊
Awwwww... That Bible verse at the start is perfection 👌💖Also, i am currently reading The Inheritance Games (i know, finally) BUT i am only half way through and my brain is already at the stage where i JUST want to find out WHY 🤣
I love the uglies series!!! I read them in middle school/high school and I remember having such a good time reading them. The main character also has my same name :)
oh my gosh. Read tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow, you will love it, be nice change from all the YA stuff and fantasy stuff. Will open up a whole new world of reading for you.
The best thing about Brandon Sanderson is that he makes it soooo easy to read and doesn’t use a lot of made up words. I would also recommend Tress of the Emerald sea
Sando fan here! I've read era 1 Mistborn which is great! I'm halfway through Stormlight archive which is so epic and fantastic! Another standalone I would recommend is Tress of the Emerald Sea- it is absolutely delightful! The Emperor's Soul is a short standalone too that could be a good entry into Sando. His series are totally worth it but I get that they are intimidating. Love your work Rach! I'm a bit older than you but still finding plenty of things we love in common. Wish we were in our 20s at the same time!! P.S My husband is Mark West's cousin. Was so surprised to see him in your wedding video. What a small world! We were the first couple on his books- married almost 18 years now!🙂🙂🙂
Ahhh!!! I'm so happy you picked up Chain of Thorns for your July TBR! No spoilers but if you're emotionally attached to the characters, prepare yourself because emotions will flow! That's all I'm gonna say!! Can't wait to know your thoughts about it!! Lots of love!! ❤❤❤
I’m not sure if she already has a video about it, but I’m curious what Rachel’s reading order is for the Cassandra Clare books and what order she suggests
I’ve been back on my YA dystopian kick this month! I read the first 3 in the selection series and I’m finishing off the last 3 in the shatter me series. May have to pick up uglies to keep the party going lol
I read ex’s & oh’s first and absolutely loved it! Then I read Set on you (the first book) and it definitely wasn’t as good but still a must read duology 💗
This month I'm going to tackle The Only One Left by Riley Sager, Greek Lessons by Han Kang, The Guest by Emma Cline, and Fourth Wing! I have a few others checked out from the library, but those are first up.
My TBR is to close up 3 series I’m reading. A good girls guide to murder boook 3, suns will rise the final book, a court of silver flame. Heart stopper volume 4. Then hopefully one thriller and one romance but Emily Henry since I’ve just discovered her books
I am currently reading Chain of Thorns and am really enjoying it so far! I'm reading The Mortal Instruments next (will be a reread) however, I am reading the shadow hunters universe in chronological order
whenever you pick up babel off it's shelf I'm always hoping you choose it😆 My July tbr- Yellowface Dragon republic The three body problem. The way of kings. (I'm also finally dipping my toes in Sanderson lake)
Heyy Rach! If you haven't already think you shoukd read this stand alone fantasy book called Sky In The Deep by Adrienne Young. I read this around a year ago in winter and it was so amazing. It was so cozy, fun and unlike anything i've ever read before. I highly recommend.

what series should read first by Cassandra Clare, i want to start the shadow hunters universe but i don’t know how
Vengeful Darkness which is book 11 of the Shadow Demon Saga series. Winter which is book 4 of the Lunar Chronicles series. It's over 800 pages.
Ahh I've seen so many people mention Chain of Thorns recently, I think I might need to start that series 😏
Fantastic video Rachel!😸
Recommend Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow so much x
I just love your hair color!
I love TBR jar videos 🥰
Has anyone else read spin the dawn and unravel the dusk by Elizabeth Lim? I really liked them! They are similar to daughter of the moon goddess
You are such a beauty, Rach! I love Proverbs 16:24 🍯🥰
The Wicked Powers series by Cassandra Clare is coming out. No idea when, but it follows the Dark Artifices!
I read Uglies a few years ago and did not really like it. What did you think?
Heyy Rach! If you haven't already think you shoukd read this stand alone fantasy book called Sky In The Deep by Adrienne Young. I read this around a year ago in winter and it was so amazing. It was so cozy, fun and unlike anything i've ever read before. I highly recommend.
Song of Achilles is 5 stars
Brandon Sanderson has another standalone, Elantris, that is apparently a bit more romance focused!
I loved Uglies! It was my last read:)
