Even though I never witnessed this era, these legends on the radio or live because I am born in 1992 & in India, I got to know about NWA in 2022 & I am blown with the fact that real NWA raps and videos are still as legendary as they were when released. It's totally unnatural how even after so many decades, nobody has matched the level of NWA... People who witnessed them at their present must be really lucky
i was a teenager when NWA blew up and they literally shaped my view of the world. as a young white teenage girl in california, and the music and revelations of that time were....life altering, no doubt. i learned how the world is different for me and how unjust the world really is, it shaped a whole generation of people. i wish it actually had changed the world in a way where these problems no longer exist, but, here we are.
