The moment everyone has been waiting for - the moment where all Hedley & the team’s headaches and blood sweat and tears comes to a full circle moment, when the motor starts and they hear that infamous Beams Dicktator launch control!!
However the guys ran into some issues upon startup, when they realised that the braided fuel lines had holes in them and that it was spraying fuel under the car. Some quick thinking coupled with a determined Junaid Hill, the guys removed the fuel cell and pumps and had the fuel system externally in order to start the car without any issues!
Next stop is the dyno, but you guys will have to stay tuned for next week!

Can you not see that I strategically placed the gopro to record up close and personal to the guys uncle? I also recorder with my phone and the footage added a different perspective? Also in the engine bay was where the most light was being shun during loadshedding so it made sense to put the gopro there! The comment should have been - “well done on the startup guys” and rather not about where i placed my gopro, no man uncle🤦🏽
And I don’t take lightly to this because Umraan and the guys puts in crazy effort to make the car work and i work my ass off to make the content…so if you can explain to me how better i could have recorded during a startup that happend while it was loadshedding, while we didn’t have sufficient lighting, please i’d like to better my game uncle.
Also, the car is being started for the first time, don’t you think it makes sense to focus somewhat on the motor and what the guys are doing in and around it to make it work?
