I really enjoyed watching your video. I also make mixed media collage art in a very large watercolor book. I like to add magazine pages but was also trying to make it fit in better to the rest of the page and then I saw your video on painting over the magazine image! What a great idea- now I have to be brave enough to try it myself. Lol! Thank you for your video, I loved it!

What a neat video, I have recently seen a couple of videos using magazines but have never tried it. I too loved painting but did it when I was a teen, but LIFE got in the way. I am now retired and wanted to go back to painting but I too got sidetracked with mix media etc. SO much to learn and so little time! I was just going to toss a magazine away but saw your video and decided to go through it and saw all the FACES that I may be able to use and tore them all out. Thanks for making the video.

Thank you Lois for watching and taking time to comment. I so appreciate it,. I too got busy with LIFE, raising kids etc. and started back into my creative mode @8 years ago, when my youngest was out of the woods,so to speak.First with painting and now a little bit of everything. Mixed Media is so versatile and fun. Happy for you that you will have time to follow your creative mood. : )

I especially appreciate the "taking OFF of paint, using stencil & baby wipe"--instead of buying adding adding more more more more adding more....you have opened my eyes to "TAKING AWAY"! & Using the different ideas than I am used to. I also ADORE the way your page came soooo foggy like or a frosted photo finish then painting the face! This is so perfect thank you again

This was fun to watch. I really like how you use your finger covered with a rag, to add and blend ink. This I shall start doing, for it does seem like one has more control, than that of a blending tool or make-up sponge. Thanks, Ina.
