Great to see my local course getting some coverage. It’s a fantastic setting and a tough challenge every round.

Another brilliant video. What a setting. Your course videos certainly get the juices flowing and already planning next year's trip to Scotland thanks to these reviews.

So much to enjoy about a good golf course even when you aren't hitting it well, but a well-timed sausage roll can make all the difference. Notice you didn't walk the course...that would be a chore and an accomplishment in itself. Great stuff Andy...

Have played the Boat several times and it’s always been a joy, irrespective of the golf played on the day. The course is beautiful in itself and the views of the surrounding countryside are simply spectacular.

I've only just found this playlist. OMG! Boat of Garten is my favourite course! Had the privilege if being a member for three years when I lived in Inverness, and play it when I go to Aviemore on holiday. It is tough, no flat lies and lots of weird bounces, but when you have the Cairngorms as your backdrop who cares?! Also saw your video of Fraserburgh. Easily the best links I've ever played, a must play IMO. Going up to that part of the world next week and will be playing Royal Tarlair - Scotland's answer to Pebble Beach, no exaggeration. These videos are utterly brilliant!!!

Something about "The Boat" that captures your heart. Not easy to capture that on a vlog but you managed it. Lovely film.

One of my favourite golf courses ever. Brilliant setting, thanks for reminding me !! I played in their Senior Open years ago so got on for £25 ! Three putted the first and it was downhill from there !! But fantastic setting !!

Great stuff Andy. Boat of Garten is a beautiful course in an absolutely beautiful area of Scotland. Grantown on Spey GC just down the road is another little gem.

Great video once again my friend.
I love how you look at golf courses for what they are.....beautiful, tough, desirable fairways and greens that cause great shots, some bad shots, ups and downs. But in the end you are there and enjoying every minute of the game! I love the views and the way you record the courses. You show everything that course has to offer with a touch or two of your honest truth about your game.
Love it brother! Keep up the great work! And always remember....you are better then the next guy but also worse then the guy before you. It always keeps you humble yet still excited to play more.
    Keep up the great work!
    -J-

Fantastic course, we had two rounds at Boat of Garten and a round at Spey Valley a few weeks ago (was meant to be in Portugal but decided for a staycation golf holiday instead!) Both courses in excellent condition, but The Boat sneaked my vote for the two. Super video again.

Played the Boat 30 years ago. A brilliant James Braid course one of his best. Not that difficult for an average player in my view. Buy some cheap balls or play old ones if your game is a bit inconsistent. It is a strategic course. Watch out for the odd Deer. One of my all time favourites,

Another stunning course, golf isn’t just about the challenge, it’s also for me about the beauty that can be found around a course. And that beauty can sometimes overcome the poor round you can have any day in the course!

If you are still around, you absolutely must play Spey Bay, it puts many so called great courses to shame. A difficult course where you cannot ever relax. Each hole requires full attention and concentration but play well and you know youve had a super round. Challenging and rewarding, oh did I mention the views.

The Boat is a course where you need to map your way round rather than reach for the big dog at every hole
