It's confirmed he is working with and overseeing it. So it's VERY likly this will have things he was rushed on filled out if Kubo is directly involved.

Bleach about to remind everyone why it’s in the big 3!
If they keep the story and pacing the same, it's gonna be a very grim reminder. Let's not forget how this series ended, let's not forget all the unexplained stuff, rushed plotpoints and various asspulls. No amount of animation quality can fix that. I only hope they expand the plot with some extended universe stuff. For example episode or two similar to origin story of Kaguya and her sons in Naruto about Yhwach and Soul King and the lore around them could actually solve plenty of issues.
Also I have to say this: Naruto and Bleach were special at their time but they haven't aged well compared to where the genre is now. Even One Piece as it was the time isn't that great compared to some of the series we have now and it only stayed relevant because it kept improving and still does to this day. I have a feeling that the reminder you're hoping for is only gonna make people more grateful of all te steps we've taken from that point towards something like Demon Slayer or Jujutsu Kaisen for example.

@@retrohanska4441 i didn't read the last 100 chapters of bleach's manga so i can't rly tell how bad it was, but if u don't know shonen jump forced kubo tite to end the manga asap (i think they told to finish in 3 or 4 chapters i guess), but they are working on a new ending to the ending to the series cuz from what i saw in the manga yhwach is just waaaay too overpowered to be killed in 4 chapters

People often get that confused, but the art style is 100% faithful to the original manga and anime. The difference is the quality of animation and, especially, effects (such as lighting). The art style is unchanged.

@@joshuajellybean384 this is not gonna be representive of average quality, there's no way that's the case. It never is. Trailers always have the most marketable bits, nothing else. This is the best it's gonna look and everything else is either rarely on par during key moments or worse, but hopefully not too much worse.

I love that Bleach has such a dedicated fan base that is still here 9 years after the anime ended and 5 years after the manga ended. No amount of disrespect or hate towards the series and it´s author could take away that dedication and love. It kept Bleach alive and resulted in this. As a relatively new Bleach-fan I am immensly impressed and proud! 2022 looks great in general with all the series coming out, but I have a feeling that the return of Bleach might leave the rest in it´s wake.

It was really the only one of the big 3 that seemed appealing to me, despite it being the one that seemed to get the most flak online and it’s in my top 4 favourite shonen series now. I can’t imagine what it’s been like for those who have waited the entire time.
Ofc it has a dedicated fanbase, Literally one of the most popular anime/manga of all time, definitely not Top 5 but it’s def top 10 or top 15 in that regard.

I feel both happy and sad! After waiting years for this I might not even get a chance to see it. I'm diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and don't know if I will survive it but that is what I intend to do! :D

I think the anime caught up to the manga, so they decided to drop it since there was no material, better that than some random filler arc.
What's great is rumors are that this story will follow more true to what Kubo wanted the final arc to go instead of the interference he received when it was in manga form. Meaning this arc could be even better than we expect!

Am I the only one that thinks the art looks a bit flat, backgrounds are weird and the lack of animated full body sequences is slightly concerning. (I been watching bleach since 2007 so Don’t want to hate.). Maybe I’m just pessimistic.

Yeah, I miss those times as well..I remember feeling the real hype before I even watched the series simply from just reading about the upcoming episodes in the Soul Society Arc in my Shonen Jump magazine when Ichigo was about to fight Kenpachi and Uryu was about to fight Kurotsuchi! Anime's vibe as a whole is different now and while it's nice sometimes, I also miss that specific "cool for the sake of cool" vibe that Bleach hit.

It's all over when the lady sings! I can't wait, I remember watching this anime when I was 15 years old, now I'm 32. Finally! FINALLY! I can see the ending of this beautiful piece of work. Despite so much blood, sweat and tears, Tite Kubo pushed on even when he was tired both mentally and physically due to things that may have been beyond his control by the manga industry. I hope he's doing better these days and not working himself to death like the other authors in Shonen Jump. Work life balance is not a thing in this industry and I think more change needs to come to prevent suicide/death from overwork.
I was 18 now I'm 35. It's a crazy feeling. Only thing crazier is I started watching One Piece when I was in my early teens and still watching it today.
