Just heard you say the majority of your viewers are women. As a woman I can see why. You approach tasks we do everyday with a problem solving attitude and enthusiasm. It gives our work dignity and the most fun part is watching you get an unbelievable amount of work done very quickly when you speed the film up.
I love to speed up the video as well! So satisfying to see the order and a cleaner home emerge from the mind-numbing disorder! It is so sad that some people are having to live and deal with this. just so overwhelming!
@@marciacahoon3512 I agree…I can’t imagine how impossible it must seem when things spiral so far out of control. It’s hard for most of us to even deal with average clutter because of the emotional part of it. The things that go through my head when I’m decluttering are harsh…things like guilt for spending money on things I never really needed…worry that if I get rid of something I might need it later (or someone I know might need it), and grief because the thing represents a memory or a time of life that will never come again. It’s emotionally exhausting! Thank goodness for Mr. Midwest Magic Spin Kicker. He understands and is helping people get out from under these burdens one house at a time and encouraging the rest of us to take care of our own clutter.
Missed you live....again! But I watch every video and tell all my friends. I clean for older people. I'm retired, almost 70, but so happy that I can still enjoy bringing order out of chaos. My few clients pay what they can, and I clean the way I clean for myself, because they deserve it. I admire you and encourage you, and thug and filth...you're all the best.
Last time my sister-in-law looked into a house cleaning service they were charging $75 an hour per cleaner, so if they estimated the house needed two cleaning people, you'd paying $150 an hour. Edit: Someone asked about cleaning greasy kitchens, I use dishwashing powder in hot water, I'd test a small area to make sure it's safe on whatever your kitchen surfaces are, also wear gloves because it will dry out your skin.
Thanks for who you are. Since my husband who was an army veteran died and within the same year my house burned I horded out my new house. Having a mouse problem made me wake up. I love what you say about horders. Trama mental illness is a problem. I have people who want to help but I can't let them cuz they want to do it their way or report me. So I won't let many people in any more. My husband used to keep me in check lol. He and I used to watch horders. Recently I found you and I love that you explain how to clean. Thanks 👍🙏
My heart truly aches for you and all you're going through. I hope you find strength through prayer, friends, family and Mack and his family. We all care about each other here. I am also older and know too many women trying to cope with this lonely stage of life. Why isn't there more help, more options to help us cope; an organization to help in a positive way like Mack? Hopefully one day. Mack and MMC are incredible, a true blessing.
People would have so much fun volunteering to help you with these projects! Great sense of humor, a heart of gold, and very helpful work to make the world a better place. Thank you for doing this and sharing!
I caught your live after it had aired but I have to say, I could not stop watching for a second! I truly enjoyed this content/conversation! Very interesting & I absolutely respect and admire the way you never throw anyone “under the bus!” Not an addict, not a slug, not a unappreciative butt nugget, no one, you do what you do & just keep on doing it! Thoroughly praise your style, and happy dancing about being a fan of yours for over a full year already!🎉🎉❤❤ Keep up your positive vibes, Mack!❤️
I had no idea you were an artist! I've dabbled in it myself, but it's not something I can do long term (I get bored of it). Your charcoal drawings are amazing!
Seeing a man who ACTUALLY CLEANS is a thirst trap. You know what you're doing. You shouldn't be cleaning, you should be vacuuming the yard and you know it! 😂😂😂
Awesome! Really like that u take care of the community & teach us about cleaning, autism & hoarding and so much more🧹🧼🧽🫧 Appreciate ur consideration for ur clients & us.
Hope all is well! Catching up on your lives. It relaxes me especially during a stressful day! Thank you for being so cool and sweet! Maybe I can catch you on a live! Jewels
Guess I am one of the 8% of your viewers bc I'm 75 and found your channel a couple of months ago and am all caught up from binge watching. You are amazing ! Started using your APC and it's amazing. So old dogs can learn new tricks... lol ... Love your artwork. I bet you would do an amazing Fresian Horse charcoal as they are black, thick maned and gorgeous. Rainex after cleaning a glass shower and then squeegee the glass after each shower keeps it clean longer. I love how you give back to the community.
I started working with a friend who had established her business on an hourly rate, and indeed, as we became more familiar with a house and more proficient, the owners DID pay less. As I brought in new clients, I would give them a flat rate for “3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 1 living area.” Anything else was extra.
So cool you take sensitivity and just preferences to product scents into account. Getting an excruciating knock down migraine just from a whiff of something (lavender scented is a big one for me) is no joke and can be so frustrating and can be hard for people to understand. I'm sorry to hear your wife is a migraine sufferer. I love how you do what you do and your compassion for people, and helping people understand that hoarding and other issues aren't a lifestyle choice.
I can't handle most scents or petroleum based products...tires are really bad. Pinesol used at work made me lightheaded about 12 hours after it was used. Febreeze...ugh!!!
I don't know what's more fantastic, the house cleaning or the art. My god. You are, to use a word I'm Sick To Death Of, but really it is the only one that works here - AMAZING. You are an amazing person.

The more I watch, the more my respect and admiration of you grows. I know nothing about autism but apparently it has the potential of making a truly gifted and talented, giving and kind and hard working individual. You're just awesome. I am so grateful to have even found your channel because I have always loved cleaning and organizing myself but you are teaching this old person quite a few new tricks. Thank you for doing what you do and sharing it. It's NO wonder you gathered the viewers you have. I hope your channel continues to grow. At least to the degree you enjoy, not that begins to overwhelm you. Bravo and hats off to you, sir👏👍♥️

Just love it😂 and I love how you help people and most of all not judging and understanding there stories. Thank you. I love cleaning and organizing things. So I just pulled up this. As you read the comments it feels like you are looking right at me. My first name is Amy, so when that was the first thing you said it freaked me out! Love your channel. I lived in Effingham for a year so I get what you say about small towns and rural living
Hello: Few years ago my girlfriend's parents house was so bad. Just like the houses you have been doing. Anyway I started going over 3 to 4 times a week to clean. Each time I would be there 3 to 6 hours a day. One problem I had was her dad would bring the trash back into the house. So I started bringing the trash bags home to my dumpster. She had 2 small couchs, each time I would get one cleaned off, the next time I would come over the couch would be totally covered with stuff. In the kitchen I would get the dishes done and put away. The next day I would come over, again, the kitchen would be just like the day before. In the meantime my Mom got ill and was put in a hospital 60 miles away. When she came home I went and lived with her. I believe it was about 3 months. So with living at my Mom's, I quit helping the couple. I really like helping people but, with that couple I felt I was wasting my time and not appreciated..
I had to finish a job, that I scheduled over the phone. It was a friends mother. It was insane. A list a mile long, as if it were a spring cleaning. Took me 5 hours. $30. Learned a valuable lesson. They called me for years, because they couldn’t keep house keepers. Never again.
I feel blessed because a good friend of mine cleans for me about once a month if I ask her. I pay 10.00 an hour. She cleans 3-4 hrs. I always give her 50.00 no matter what.
Thanks so much for all that you do. I love your style, your explanations and your humor. It’s stupid funny to me and I’ve watched and rewatched for hours. Your openness with autism and how it effects you is incredible, too. I’m autistic and adhd (and have migraines, RIP to me and your wife). I’d like to make a suggestion and I’m not faulting or attacking you because you’re awesome. But have you considered switching ‘high functioning’ and ‘Asperger’s’ with low support needs and just dropping ‘Asperger’s’ all together? Using high and low support needs vs high/low functioning helps our fellow autists break down bad stereotypes of ‘usefulness’ and ‘value’ to society, and Asperger was a Nazi who categorized autistic patients vs how useful they were to the 3rd Reich which just sucks generally, so breaking down a Nazi’s influence over how we talk about ourselves would be nice. Again, I’m not attacking or telling you to suck it, I’m just bring it up to consider. LOVE these videos!
Yes I’ve been depressed got behind on dishes and bought more! My hoarding and compulsive shopping started with the Covid epidemic, and being moved into isolation because they took away our office and made us work from home and I have no family. I’m now healed after losing my house and everything I owned to a housefire, which actually cleaned out the hoard and the clutter, and reset my brain 🧠 because I suffered burns and could’ve been killed and I’m so incredibly grateful that I was not permanently injured and I have healed. I’m so grateful with a beautiful new home that I’m keeping in immaculate condition Praise God 🙏 Romans 8:28 Hoarding is indeed a fire hazard the firemen could hardly get through my house 😢
I love that you're a Mystery Science Theater fan! I'm a fanatic and have been watching for years. Have you heard of RiffTrax? Same guys riffing on current stuff. They've done a bunch of the Star Wars movies, Star Trek, Harry Potter, etc. They also do live shows a couple times a year. They're live in Tennessee but simulcast to theaters all over the US and Canada. I've been to a couple of live shows they did in Minnesota - one of which was an MST3K reunion. It was awesome! Chec it out whenever you get a chance. 😊
LOL, we’re telling our age w MST beginnings! I lived/went to college in MN when it started. Dated a guy who was roommate to the creator. Never saw a live show though.
@@barbwall3678 That's awesome. I think I stumbled on MST3K during the last few seasons of Joel and beginning seasons of Mike. I don't mind it telling my age (I'm 52). The 80s and 90s had some of the best shows. RiffTrax is Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy (aka Tom Servo) and Bill Corbett (aka Crow - later seasons; Brain Guy). The live shows are amazing. They're doing one this Thursday night at 7 as a matter of fact. They're riffing RAD. It's an 80s movie about dirt bikes so it should yield a lot of great riffing.
Thanks for the live! I could not make it live, but watched the re-run.. like twice... LOL! I love it, it's always interesting. I sent links of you videos to my mom, and now she watches, lol. I'm trying to convert my dad too, but I think he's a bit of a hoarder himself, so it's too much confrontation for him. The cult is groing my friend! Can't wait to get my robe now I'm a member. I'll pass on the special hair cut though, I love my hair the way it is... Hope your back is better and can't wait for you next vid! See ya!
I hope u see this comment and respond because I need advice. We have a rental home that the tenants just moved out of. They lived there for 12 years and we don’t think they cleaned the kitchen cabinets ever! They are very greasy grimy. What would u recommend for cleaning greasy oak cabinets? Thanks advance Sharon
hey...in one of your videos...could you please explain to people what the overwhelm sensation is like...what it feels like... for others to understand? i think i get that with some things but would like to understand it in others too. Also, Scotland is beautiful - i love the Isle of Skye and the highlands. My family emigrated to Australia from there and it always feels like home when i visit. Thanks for all your time and everything you do.❤
@@barbwall3678 i have their book...and they mention people feeling overwhelmed many times, but im interested in what that actually feels like. Mack mentioned in his video that he gets overwhelmed with all the comments so he takes a break - but he must have felt something - a sensation, a sense of emotions, difficulty of some sort - i'm keen to understand what this actually feels like for others and how they know its 'overwhelm'.
I missed the live and I REALLY need to know how to get rid if the smell of cat poop and pee from floors and low wall area. (Not trusting anyone with my house anymore unless I’m living there, too!)
Neurodiverse is not only for autistics, though. It includes us, but is not only us. I like the nd term, but when i need to be understood, i prefer people to know i have autism and adhd. Not just the generalised, "neurodiverse", which includes a lot more differences that i dont live with. Its a good start, and better than "disorder"... Yuk.
Tell Emily, i would love to " chill and crochet " with her on a channel. Lite music and her chatting random things. That's a good idea you came up with. Maybe other crafters would love to" _____and chill" ( not sure her other crafts) . New channels are always welcome.
A friend paid a girl and her boyfriend $100 to clean his one room living space. ALL they did was stack everything into totes (including dirty dishes) they did not even sweep or mop the floor! I told him he was stupid for paying them.
Had a coworker let me borrow his residential style rug doctor... it did so much better than my household carpet cleaner from Walmart. Worth the money I'd say! Just an FYI for y'all❤
I had a day at the dentist😮actually it was😁👍living in California I seem to not be able to catch the lives--OK though😊I can relax with "look more dishes" 😂🤣
I know you said once, that once you clean your kitchen & keep it clean that will drive the roaches away. But do you ever use bug killers or mice killers to start the process? Thank you for what you do 😊
Wow - what an interesting twist: charging more than competitors and exiting the minute someone tries to barter. Because I have so limited an income, I always ask -- namely because I want to be able to tip. People providing services deal with stuff nobody wants to deal with - even if its not gross - just bills or results of hand-written note-taking🙄 They have earned it. I may have 50 to my name at the end of the month, but if I know I'm getting more on the 3rd, then that $50 needs to go to this person, because good people are hard to find where I live. And living here is expensive. It's one thing to be broke -- It's another thing to be cheap.
I do not know how to tell this: but your biggest, most intelligent, cleanest autistic and the most beautifullest person/ human/ woman fan/man/wam/ is from Poland. Love and kisses. Long live the king of CHCOH.

I feel blessed because a good friend of mine cleans for me about once a month if I ask her. I pay 10.00 an hour. She cleans 3-4 hrs. I always give her 50.00 no matter what.
Yeah, don't ever lose her because that's severely underpaid.
It should be probably double that.
Another great live . Take care of yourself and get some rest.
You are one talented artist!
Degrease it with Mr Clean in layers. Then, use Liquid Gold or Old English to oil them.
Thank you for responding! I will try that
Dollar General has the Clean Freak cleaner on sale this week…2/$12 - $4 w a DG digital coupon, so 2/$6. At Aldi too.
hey...in one of your videos...could you please explain to people what the overwhelm sensation is like...what it feels like... for others to understand? i think i get that with some things but would like to understand it in others too. Also, Scotland is beautiful - i love the Isle of Skye and the highlands. My family emigrated to Australia from there and it always feels like home when i visit. Thanks for all your time and everything you do.❤
Check out any writings by Dr Gail Sketekee (spelling?) author of Buried In Treasure
Young man stop vaping … now go to your room and think about what you’re doing to your body !!!!
We need you around !
Wow you are a fantastic artist!!
I missed the live and I REALLY need to know how to get rid if the smell of cat poop and pee from floors and low wall area. (Not trusting anyone with my house anymore unless I’m living there, too!)
Great pictures awesome job
Damn! Missed you ‘live’ again !
Hope it went well !
Enjoy your sleep. .. it’s Tuesday morning here ❤
you are an entertaining guy.
Hey I’ve been using the new term, Neurodiverse instead of Autistic. Some people get it.
Yuk.
Me too missed you live and just tuned in at beginning on Aug 17.
Your art is great! I love the logic in your cleaning. Also love your humor Watching from Oklahoma
Tell Emily, i would love to " chill and crochet " with her on a channel. Lite music and her chatting random things. That's a good idea you came up with. Maybe other crafters would love to" _____and chill" ( not sure her other crafts) . New channels are always welcome.
beautiful art!
I know this is pre-recorded, but, hearing you say you forgot to take your meds made me remember I hadn’t taken mine. It’s 2:40 pm 😮
Just an FYI for y'all❤
Hello sweet people. Do you clean apts? Are you gonna clean in Chg? May God continue to bless you & your family.
I really enjoy your videos.
Biff Clownspanker did another live and I missed it!! 🤦♀️🤦♀️ This is why we turn notifications on 🤦♀️🤦♀️
Your artwork is great!
Thanks! You just answered my question
It was good listening to you
I had a day at the dentist😮actually it was😁👍living in California I seem to not be able to catch the lives--OK though😊I can relax with "look more dishes" 😂🤣
I know you said once, that once you clean your kitchen & keep it clean that will drive the roaches away. But do you ever use bug killers or mice killers to start the process? Thank you for what you do 😊
Nope
My cousin has Asperger's as well. 👏👏👏👏👏 You're doing well with having a UA-cam videos, it can be very helpful.
Wow - what an interesting twist: charging more than competitors and exiting the minute someone tries to barter. Because I have so limited an income, I always ask -- namely because I want to be able to tip. People providing services deal with stuff nobody wants to deal with - even if its not gross - just bills or results of hand-written note-taking🙄
They have earned it.
