These are the type of videos that remind me of how lucky we all are that we can enjoy this great sport. 😎You just hop on your board with your buddy, wait for a little breeze and sail away in absolute freedom - whatever direction you feel like - and enjoy the nature, the sun, the water, the nice views, all the while without having to blast tons of CO2 into the atmosphere and just harnessing what mother nature has given us. It really doesn't get any better than that. ❤ I almost feel sorry for the people on this huge cruise ship who prefer being caged in this piece of junk while we are free, soaring with the wind.
Thank you so much for sharing these moments with us, it just strengthens my belief that there is nothing better than windsurfing /-foiling. 🤩
And yet it takes tons of co2 to get to spots and to produce our boards. It's tricky.
I lived on Bonaire for a year and know most of those guys, great video NICO! Next you should do Aruba!

That's funny listening to you guys talk about your ages. I remember well watching vids of Caesar Finies well before Instagram was a thing. I was gobsmacked. It just seems like yesterday.Time flies when you're 74.

I've been to Bonaire three times, it's flat water paradise, Sorobon is a huge salt water lagoon with salty crystal clear water, mostly waist high, just perfect for windsurfing. Jibe City is amazing, top notch equipment at great prices, and it's an awesome restaurant and bar too.
The title of this video, however, makes it sound like it's not a good spot. Kind of confusing for non-subscribers to this channel, and to people that watched your previous video.

Auch meine 7Wochen auf Bonaire sind nun leider um (Nico bei meiner Anreise getroffen, er im Abreise Stress :-)), Fazit rasen in der Badewanne ist hat mir wieder nicht gutgetan, ich brauche jetzt mal ne Pause, nach 800km auf dem Wasser bin ich reif für Reha Maßnahmen im kalten Deutschland, ;-) Die Ausstattung für Heizer in der JibeCity ist echt Obergeil, fast neue Segel V8er, dann Fanatic Falcon 2022/23, Isonics, JP Supersport, Futura so ein Bandbreite hatte man an Verleihstationen nicht immer!!!

Amado mentions several times that he did his fastest time around Klein Bonaire on iQFoil. Why does he specifically say iQFoil? does that gear move better up- and downwind?
Exactly, it works better for up and down and slalom foil gear. Big foil, big sail, big board.
At 7'30'', both are pulling massive sails from the water without an uphaul cord. Why no cord? is the effect on speed measurable?
Measuring in windsurfing is always tricky, but logically it should make a small difference.

However, the list is not very big yet. To be continued. Bonaire, Alacati/TR, Egypt, some spots in Greece are great for beginners.

In deinem Video ist ein Moment zu sehen, als du die NP-Fuse auf den Mast auflegt und um den Mastkopf ein Stück U-förmig gebogenes Alu lag. Das kenne ich von den SL-Finnen, wenn man zwischen verschiedenen Boardmarken wechselt und den Finnenkopf dicker machen will. Was ist denn hier der Grund? Hat sich die Titan-Fuse geweitet? herzlichen Dank!
An der Titan-Fuse ändert sich gar nichts. 😂 Habe noch nie so ein unanfälliges Stück Material gehabt.
Der shim besteht nur aus dünnem Plastik. Ich möchte einfach, dass es so eng wie möglich anliegt.
