My 2 stroke engine has no problem with it, i once rode into 20 inch deep water and the engine of course stalled, but it didn't seize because it has no valves haha. Then it was only a matter of draining the carb and it ran again, even though there was a huge clowd of water vapour coming out of the exhaust hahahaha. God i love cheap chinese 2 stroke motorized bikes haha can't go wrong with them

Because the alternative route is 4 miles longer (5-10 minutes tops) and people who drive these sorts of expensive cars cannot possibly sacrifice a few extra minutes of their super important lives to take the sensible route. When the river is low it is barely a puddle across the road and perfectly passable for most vehicles but it does rise quickly after heavy rain and during the winter.

Most of the year it’s a very shallow crossing. It’s just people without any basic knowledge about cars driving them through the ford when it is at high level.

I was once deep in a Canadian forest just south of the Boreal forest, bear country, in the prairies with my dirt bike buddies. We tried getting across some big land and water locked my bike. I was stuck deep intue woods on my own as they had to go get rope to pull the bike back to base camp, 4 hours later they turned up. Solid mates. I had to leave my on as the mosquitoes were eating me alive. I was tired, scared and fed up. Few days later we got to wrenching on the small engine (Honda 400x)…. Gallons! Gallons of oil flushing and a lot of ball ache. I just can’t imagine the damage to these Mercedes and modern cars. You absolute plonkers!
