The test for old school beat juggles using known songs show us imagination. “Unlocking” songs and finding hidden new songs by live remixing and using skill to juggle is completely missing from dmc now and is why old school DJs from the 90s and 00s are better than kids now.

DJ P was hella bold to be actually mixing in the DMC when everyone was fixated on getting their juggles down, his routine was definitely out there especially with his crowd hype, breakdance and 'it' diss at the end!! 👀
DJ P is one of the best party rocking DJ's I have ever seen. I have seen him live at least 10 times, he never messes up and can mix any 2 songs together flawlessly riding the pitch instead of touching the records, plus he does a lot of on beat scratches and tricks while keepingthe crowddancing. . He won the BET TV show Master of the Mix using all vinyl while almost all the other DJ'S used Serrato. His mix with Z trip - Uneasy Listening pretty much started the mash up trend, but they did it with all vinyl.
@@drgigglesvinyldjsets-kruto1080 I can't believe that Master of the Mix series. was so long ago. Wasn't it 2011? Total Eclipse and Vajra were also contestants on other series', but I think it was fixed for them to not win.
@@bubz3t136 Yep. It looks like Master of the Mix started in 2010 on B.E.T. for 3 seasons, then it was on VH1 for at least 1 season. Some dude has the VH1 season uploaded to UA-cam. I watched a snippet of the VH1 episode and it was some young dude DJing on his I Pad. 🤦Doh! 😑I only caught most of the season DJ P was on, although I do remember seeing Total Eclipse and Chris Karnes and DJ Wicked a few times. My memory isn't the clearest on it. Now I kind of want to watch them again.
