    Finally, a thermal stitch tutorial that makes sense to me. Your verbal instructions match your handiwork quite well. It makes for easy replication without silly assumptions and do-overs on my part. I appreciate your clarity and wish you all the best.

    Is it normal for the first 3 rows to look like a fat rope? I can't seem to get past that. No free loops on the previous row.

    Would you please show me where to go for row two? If you would show the first and second rows, I think I can do this. I have not been able to keep the thickness after one without this help. Thank you.

      Hi, this tutorial shows how to do the first three rows. The first row is sc, and then the next 2 rows are similar in that you are working into the back loop only of the stitch on the row below and also into the front loop left open from two rows below. The difference is row 2 is working into the chain and row 3 works into the front loop left on the single crochets.
