  • Full teardown and disassembly on the new Lenovo Legion Go gaming handheld PC. Accessing the SSD is very easy and the build quality is good on this device. Components seem reasonably easy to repair and replace.

      But for transportation, this takedown will be easier to carry around. And i like how snitch legion go is. Still i see both have pros and cons. I like how you can use go to play cs2 competitively. While you can do on ally but that will be a pain. Cause keyboard and mouse will take out some usb slots.

    Good video. I appreciate it.
    A tip: Samsung t7 external ssd is great with the GO and other portable machines, I have a 2 terabyte t7 and it is about the size of a credit card, thicker of course.
    Fits snugly in your pocket or wallet.
    It is also durable. A handy addition to the go, a 2 terabyte, or even bigger storage on the go for games, pictures, files. I wholeheartedly suggest everyone check outn the Samsung t7 ssd. It trumps the microsd cards easily in speeds.
    Specs of the t7:
    USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) Capacities: 500GB, 1TB, 2TB Read: 1050 MB/sec Write: 1000 MB/sec Drop rating: Up to 2m Security: AES 256-bit hardware encryption Color options: Red, blue or black Weight: 58g
    A perfect companion.

      @rainerrain9689 honestly speaking, it is not that bad. Once you set the gaming into balanced mode (NOT performamce), it is ok. Just to give a very rough comparison, bakanced mods on the GO is comparable to the Deck with the fans running at low-mid range. Besides,that, it is a truly amazing device,, the most complete and top tier handheld I have ever owned (and I had quite some of them, including the Deck and the Ally).

      @@ricksanchez7250 maybe once, twice is the limit for this unit. Coz if you're a heavy gamer or maybe medium gamer. Your will always drain its battery. For a big SCREEN, do you think its battery will last. Not only it has a big screen, all its specs are hype. So what do you expect. Battery always degrading everytime you use it. Many wrong things can happen whenever you are removing parts. Even when you're careful. Something always go wrong.

    • @DudeStrange
      @DudeStrange 7 місяців тому

      @@ricksanchez7250depending on battery specs and how much you game on said battery, even two times during the lifetime of the device. Li-ion batteries degrade a bit with every recharge/discharge, losing max capacity and chemical stability over time. On average current Li-ion Batteries are rated for between 2000-3000 (it always turns out to be bit less in practice) full discharge/recharge cycles, so in a reasonable scenario in which every day you start fully charged, take your device on the the go and use up most of the charge when on a train or something, return home and fully recharge it and for the rest of the day play while plugged in on the couch, over the entire year that's about 1/6th of your entire battery health grinded down. Given that these handhelds are full feature relatively high spec for their size PCs it's safe to assume that they will stay in use 6-8 years of varied intensity use, possibly by multiple owners. So when the time finally comes, it's a nice and welcome thing to not be forced to fully disassemble a device to do the job, especially when you happen to be the clumsiest person you know, the less steps to do so the better

      Neither the steam deck nor the ally will do any better in AAA titles. The ally and this will have basically same performance as they use the exact same chipset. The legion go has a nicer screen though the ally has VRR. I haven't had any problems with hands my size.
      The steam deck OLED would be a solid choice, but it's performance is going to be slightly worse.
