I do think they offer high quality brands, with that said, so do a ton of other resellers. The over saturation part is what kills the resale value. I think if you are strategic, get in early for items people are looking for, it could be profitable. I hate to talk badly about a business, but I just cleared my cost of goods a year later.

@@EatPlayLoveCO I have no idea lol. Definitely sit, wait & think for a moment like you are. In the end follow your gut. It’s already been a bad experience & will prob continue to be a bad experience if you ship.
I tend to accept most offers, but it gets so irritating seeing the 75% offers come in. Like posh shouldn't even allow offers that low or give us the option of how low offers we want to allow. i love that you share the ups and downs and crazy buyers.
I have had 2 people stalk me on different selling platforms. When I blocked they still found me . I didn’t realize until after I printed label it thankfully worked out of but I was crapping in my pants

Is anyone clear on the discounted shipping offer for ambassadors? I have the banner on my items but when I send offers, I still have to select a shipping discount if I want to offer one. I'm guessing it must be for full price sales only?
On another note I had a woman harass me overNWT Skims underwear. I was nothing but kind to her in our written exchanges and when she ultimately didn't get what she wanted she berated me and called me a piece of garbage for being so greedy. She got blocked. Sometime later a different account sent me a message regarding the same item and immediately I sensed it was her. I looked at her username and she literally used the word FAKE in her account. She promptly found herself blocked. 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
It is so ridiculous and hilarious when buyers get mad at sellers because they can’t afford the item 😂 that is their problem
@@laurieb6163 I haven’t figured out the shipping for offers bc I typically don’t send a discount, I’ll keep my ears open for any insight.
Thanks for sharing your experience, I’m sorry that happened to you and I am glad I’m normalizing talking about it! I’ve never heard anyone talk about these bonkers behaviors. I do think it is against policy to have two accounts, especially if you use them to harass people. Sigh.
I read the blog regarding Posh Pass which is in regard to the $5.95 shipping. What I get out of it is if you offer a different shipping discount it voids the $5.95 offer, it’s says that the best offer for the buyer will override the $5.95 offer.
This is only until the end of December, then there will be some kind of buy in (more money to Poshmark) for all your items to be offered at $5.95 shipping. They say there will be some other benefits to this, but I don’t know what and actually don’t believe it, look how promoted closet worked out!
@@Mari-hb4cw - Funny- they'll want us to pay to offer discounted shipping but I'm already paying when I give my customers discounted shipping. 🙄😂 We'll see what they come up with next. Part of the reason I enjoy Posh is for the simplicity. My sales continue to be on the decline even though I'm sourcing better. Which has led me to start an eBay account and I simply hate it but I'm trying!
Not always better for sellers. I had a $15 sale and my seller fee was 3.31 instead of 3. The $15 sale price + $.90 tax plus $5.95 shipping x 5.99% plus the $2 fee made the seller fee $3.31 instead of $3. So if the tax is high and/or you offer $5.95 shipping you will pay more at times. If you offer free shipping that makes the buyer’s total higher since they are also paying a fee for sale price plus tax plus shipping. This is not good, will chase buyers away. Right now we are all offering $5.95 with Posh Pass beta program, Posh is paying for it then after December 31st there will be a charge for that too.
The new fees are so confusing I am honestly just going to keep doing things the way I always have been. I will account for approx 20% seller fee and if I make a little less or a little more than so be it. It is too much of a hassle to go back and reprice.
Sadly if I sell something for $14 I get more money than if I sold it for 15 based on the new fee structure.
The offer game on Poshmark is out of control!
So funny that you just ghost those lowball offers, that’s what I’ve been doing for months. It’s like they’re not even worth my energy. Then this morning I get a $200 offer on a $700 item 🙄
I wish you told me sooner! 😘 It's the key to reselling zen! That is an absolutely absurd offer. Sigh.
It’s annoying when someone b7ndles and keeps taking it out and putting it back in and you keep getting notified. In my case I had sent an offer already, so I commented that I noticed she keeps putting it in and taking it out, my original offer stands. So she doesn’t reply in the comment section, she just takes the item out and puts it back in again. I hate blocking anyone but in this case I did.
Relatable and understandable. I'm happy she didn't create a second account to keep taunting you!
