    I don’t know if you ever went after the rust on your rv, but he’s a tip, whether the rv is old or new, apply some RT-342 which is Cosmoline , it is a spray liquid wax, which blocks oxygen and stops rust, I’ve been using this for years and it works great, just keep it away from anything that gets hot such as exhaust.
    Also I just subscribed to your channel, as I am also removing my airbags and installing sumosprings , I have a class c, and the air bags are garbage.
    Good video

      Thanks for the tip. I have been slowly tackling areas of rust as I encounter them. Long process.
      We love our sumo springs.
      Thanks for watching and subbing!

    Nice work JP. Can't wait to hear about the ride after the first trip with all 4 sumos in place

    Have you done a test drive video with the front and rear Sumos installed?

    Awesome, thank you, if you had to drill the holes could you have done it without removing the rear wheel, I'm going to install them on my MH but I really don't want to have to remove the wheel to do it?

      I believe you could, but you would still need to raise the RV up so you can increase the distance from frame to suspension. You'd probably want to mark it in place for the holes and then remove the unit to drill holes or you could use the unit as a guide for the holes when drilling. Thanks for watching.

      @@WanderToGetLost Got it, I just bought a right-angle or the 90 degree drill motor today so I can get behind the wheels, I will be ordering the front first and then the rear and hopefully by this summer camp season I will be set, thank you again.

    You should have continued the video with the test ride

      I should have but the rv wasn't ready to drive with all the work I was doing. I didn't want to delay the install video. Thanks for watching.

    Thanks for sharing and for your business. Let us know how the ride is once you get out of the pool and back on the road! 👏🏼

    Nice work! Did you feel any difference? How were they compared to just the fronts?

      @WanderToGetLost  Рік тому

      For me driving I don't notice the back when driving as much as the kiddos. They say it's a better ride in the back. I will say our body roll on corners is way less and the overall handling of the RV has improved. I feel it was worth it. Especially to take some of the wear off the frame from all the bumps out on the road.

    I know this is old but what did you do about the air supply to the old air bags? Thanks 😊

    • @WanderToGetLost
      @WanderToGetLost  Рік тому +1

      They had a spot by the rear wheel that you needed to connect an airline to in order to inflate the bags. They never had an air system installed, so it was a pain. I just cut out the old lines.

    Nice vid. Update on the ride quality? Sumo or airbags? I currently have airbags, considering sumos

      Sumos for sure. Especially no more leaks and constantly adjusting the air bags. We're very happy with them. Thanks for watching!
