"I wouldn't buy a car just because of that.. Now would I " 🤔🤔 read my mind 😂 the dual mode exhaust definetly sounds.. like fun . Great review btw

I really like the way the 2016 Camaro drives and the V6 sounds mean with the optional exhaust. While the interior is mainly hard plastic, it has nice and thoughtful touch surfaces. The infotainment and heads up display were impressive and would be a must-have option for me. I'd spec out an RS coupe with the V6 and the manual transmission. Problem is that's nearing $40k and at that price I could have a V8.

How tall are you, and how is the rear fit behind the passenger if the passenger were willing to slide the seat forward as much as possible.

Ed, the driver and passenger were both about 6'feet tall. Rear seating, not to sound cliche, is best suited for children. Short children.

I'm not asking about comfort. I'm asking if it's possible to squeeze a six footer behind the passenger if the passenger, for a short to middle distance trip, were willing to slide the seat all the way forward. Obviously, the driver is limited because he has to have control over the pedals, but can a third person behind the passenger manage to fit if the seat is all the way forward? Thank You.

That would be tight, but plausible. I feel like I tried to sit in the back of it, and as long as my feet could fit in between the passenger seat and rear seat, it was at least possible. The passenger seat would have to be way up.

The paddle shifters are a gimmick on public roads because 1) only grandmas drive with 2 hands on the steering wheel 2) in a manual car, your right hand's position tells you what gear you're in; in contrast, a paddle shifter forces me to take my eyes off the road and look down at the dashboard to see what gear I'm in 3) paddle shifter doesn't let me skip gears like a manual 4) turning right at an intersection, I usually downshift as my hand turns the steering wheel but I can't do them both with paddles 5) my fingers are doing too much work juggling a signal lane change while simultaneously paddle shifting while simultaneously turning the steering wheel.

You didn't mention the most important thing. How is the visibility with top up especially the back?

AJ R it's not amazing, but it's probably not any worse than the coupe. I know that's not saying much.

Visibility sucks. Keep a co pilot for safe lane changes. Very blind on the right rear area.

If you take traction control completely off then it will do awsome burnouts lol

I've got the conv. Trunk is useless when down. A netted option to hold luggage in the back seat would be a nice option. Just my thoughts.

since you cant even get the hood open, I don't think you are good enough to do a burnout.

We are so close to 2018 models coming in the fall now that I'd rather wait for the 2018 Mustang with redesigned dashboard + dual exhaust mode, and the 2018 Toyota Supra.
