I just want to say that I've had my 2014 Silverado for a little over a year and your videos have been invaluable. Well organized, informative and to the point. Keep up the great job Cliff and the boys! Thank you
So I bought that gasket and your right, it's thinner than the factory gasket. It failed as well. The trick is, the gasket needs to be made of good material, but it needs to be thicker than the OEM gasket. There is not enough compression in the center of the assembly to get a good seal, so the gasket needs to be thick. Just my thought.
Hello- I have a question regarding the LED Bulbs for the rear break lights. 1) do I need a resistor 2) does the replacement LED need to be red? Thank you
Now if only GM could FIX their AFM/DoD Problem. My Truck, 2014 CC Silverado LTZ, EXCELLENT Condition, only 114K on it, well maintained, every 3000k oil change. Engine grenaded. These Automakers, and I include ALL of THEM, are all shady as. They PUSH out JUNK with ever increasing Price Gouging MSRPs. Then Deny. Deny. Deny.

How important are those clips to keeping the light water tight? I lost one of the clips and want to make sure that water is going to stay out
How has the gasket performed so far? Were you able to clip the metal clips in with the additional thickness of the gasket?
I was not able as the gasket seems to be too thick and the clips do not snap into place.
You the little metal clips come with the new light?
Yes
Pro tip, use butyl tape to seal your light, not the crummy gaskets that come with the new light housing.
what did you use to remove the silicone
whats the screw size?
What kind of glue to adhere the gasket
it comes with adhesive pre-installed :)
@@TheSundaeDrive I bought it worked like a charm👌🏾
