    Well said, sir. This "rolling rope" technique is something I've incorporated in my rope coaching sessions for years, purely because it is a great way to get repetitions in and sharpen the coordination. It's important to use the core and legs when executing these techniques, which might not be obvious to the naked eye. And THAT, makes it a great practice that many are sleeping on.
    Anyway, just acknowledging you for a great video here. Will be looking out for more from you in Instagram also.
    Keep fighting the good fight😎
    -Glen

      Listen three times and pay attention to the non-detailed words and then pick up a rope and look at your hands and feet. Then do what Dave does and then go teach what you know. EZ PZ.

    Question on the length of rope. If you're not planning on jumping through the rope, wouldn't it be better to shorten so it's not hitting the ground, or do you need it that long to do all the moves to go around your body and over your head?

    • @brawndothethirstmutilator9848
      @brawndothethirstmutilator9848 Рік тому

      Matter of personal preference and which methods you plan to apply. I find that the “perfect” rope length just clips the tops of the blades of short grass (which incidentally I highly recommend learning on grass for this reason). A distance inside the handles of my wingspan + the length of a forearm gives me that length of rope. YMMV.

    Have you heard of Poi; that's been around for a very long time? You're not doing anything special here and by using a rope you greatly limit what can be done in terms of movement and coordination....

    • @chilipalmer8441
      @chilipalmer8441 3 роки тому +1

      Very similar but there are things with both exercises that are exclusive, one being that you can mix it up and skip with these ropes as well.
