Thank you so much my dear! Hope you can catch the next one on Monday night! Some folks would look at what I found this hunt like junk but it’s amazing history and I’m honored to dig it!
I couldn’t agree with you more. If you dig up relics you have a duty to care for them. They are older than you and will be around after you’ve gone. So either preserve them or leave them where they are.
1. I keep thinking of a line from Rocky II when seeing your finds. “He’s a wrecking ball Rock”!! 2. I didn’t throw it away I was young and inexperienced when I found the cob and cut pistareen. Now I’m old and inexperienced. 3. You ever sing the marble song again I will rip your vocal chords out. 😂 4. Great finds as always Buck. Wish I was there…..I will be in a few months.
Awesome video. I keep anything I'm not sure about. Dug a unidentifiable piece of stamped brass a year ago, looking through my videos last week and it hit me....fragment of artillery insignia.
Could not agree more with your introduction. The “treasure “ hunters who are only looking for stuff to sell or brag about are probably throwing away tons of really interesting historical finds in their ignorance. Save it, research it and preserve it Should be as big a part of this hobby as digging it. Well said. Andy
