I absolutely agree. I wasn't at the game but I was watching on TV, and I told my wife that the crowd was incredible. Even in such a tough year, they showed out for the team and supported them. It was really, really nice to see!
So glad they had the heart to come back with hard work, hustle and grit. If they played this way all season long, we'd only have two or three losses. Still, it shows heart. Go Cuse!
Well done, Cuse. I stuck in there and kept watching after the half. The events just before halftime provided some glimmer of hope. To see Burton stopped, that was exceptionally nice. So. I'm glad for the win. But you need to know I won it for them. Yes, here's how I did it. I discovered that if I eat some potato chips during the game, SU wins. If I don't, they lose. So I zipped out to the grocery Saturday AM and bought a bag of chips. During the half I opened that bag and began munching. Not too much now . . . chips are not the best snack healthwise. But once I got the chipfest going SU began to play well. So, fans, that's the key. Potato chips. I'll try that next game and see if it proves to be true. Credit Shrewsberry for coaching his team up quite well. But that hissy fit near the end was not cool. He deserved the two (not one) two technicals. Not a very impressive demonstration of self control. We are adults now, Coach, and we have learned to control our emotions.
Kyle was the only one who semmed to make a foul shot today. Eddie managed to have three of his shots rim out. If orange free throw percentage was the same as Notre dame it would have been a blowout
If the guys are playing good d ,there starts to become a rhyme and reason to Red's substitution. The energy of bringing Cuffe,Carlos and Pistol off the bench seems to work. The team really needs to hit 80%+ on FT's to make up for the lack of a consistent outside game.
When the Notre Dame Coach sees the replay of the illegal screen from different angles he might try to make amends. One would hope so. If in fact that was what he was mad about. Wouldn't it be something if Syracuse shot free throws as well as Notre Dame? Might have made the Big Dance possible for them without needing a miracle run in the ACC Tournament.
You always need a goal. If it's to make the ACC tournament, fine, let's do it. We're 9-9. Maybe we could have a winning record. That would shock the critics. I've been looking over recent scores. Texas lost to #1 Tennessee by four points and to #2 Auburn by 5 while Texas Tech lost to #3 Iowa State by 1 point. We lost to Texas by 4 and Texas Tech by 5. Georgetown lost to #7 Marquette and #9 Connecticut by 8 points each. Notre Dame lost to #4 Duke by the same margin. Could it be that we're not as bad as everyone thinks - when we want to be?
Okay I'm going to offer a different perspective. This is a very very very very very good basketball team with a tremendous amount of talent. Problem is they don't care they have more apathy than the fans do. There are a bunch of lazy punks who believe all they have to do is get into the ACC tournament and then start playing like they mean it. As in put in as little possible effort to show that they have any value. This is an epidemic that goes through most of today's youth and without a strong leader to push them to their limits this is what you get. Lazy lazy lazy
If you look at the stats you wonder how? Defense along with effort. I have been hard on them, congrats. The obvious thing is the ACC is horrible, so SU you got to grab it. Duke is the only outstanding team.
*How about that comeback!?*
I think the energy that Eddie Lampkin showed was the spark.
Let's goooo!!! We showed so much heart and fight this game what an amazing win and we deserved this win!!!🍊💪🏾💯
The crowd has to get some credit for this win also. I think that's the loudest I've heard them all year.

I’ll tell ya what, if they beat Clemson with you eating potato chips, then you’re not allowed to go another game this season without potato chips😂
This type of game could change the whole season. Definitely a confidence booster so u never know.
I hope so🤞
