Talkin about bubble tape and the flavor loss makes me think of that Fruit Stripe zebra gum. 3 seconds of flavor and done.

Hubba Bubba actually had a Sega video game, called Bubba n Stix. I had no idea it was a gum based game because it has nothing to do with gum, it's a puzzle platformer in space. It does have a sick soundtrack.

There's also the bizarre phenomenon that there is *nothing* else in the world which tastes like any of the Fruit Stripe gum flavors, which is kind of a shame because they're actually rather pleasant. By my estimates, an individual born in the mid 80's to early 90's has experienced anywhere between 10-15 minutes of Fruit Stripe gum flavor in their lifetime.

The little bit about the wrist rocket...holy hell. Friday nights with a couple buddies...there was an unnamed fence company next to the railroad tracks I lived near. A small hill up to the rails and a small hill down. So many nights lost slamming a bottle of cherry nyquil and shooting at random windows on that fence company and then running to a buddies home to dodge cops. I mean... I didn't do that...allegedly some underage assholes tripping ass off of nyquil and other otc things you could...liberate from a family dollar.
Of course when you live in buttfuck nowhere u.s.a. you ave to get inventive to be entertained. God I miss the 90's. Thanks for the memories guys!

And even though they are doing better today, I highly doubt they'd change their patented shapes, especially since they do know and are acknowledging their old fanbase who are all adults now.
