The little wooden bits are a yarn holder :) the strap goes on after you put your yarn cake over the stick and then it dangles from your wrist while you knit or crochet. Merry Christmas!

Hi, the addi knitting machine is nice, really nice especially for hats! Which I admire the fact you knit hats for your whole class every year. You could do it within a couple hours with the addi machine. Plus scarves are a breeze. I’m not familiar with the the other thing you were asking about at all. Sorry I can’t be more helpful on that. I have one of those little gadgets. It should have a wrist strap. You can put a skein on it and walk around and crochet.

I think the item is a place for the yarn 🧶 to sit on and the handle is for that too.
I like knitting needles where I feel you actually knit the hats by hand. Not trying to be a snob but I don’t think that’s handmade sorry not trying to be rude. I love that you make each child your special hat for them. I too love Ross’ pattern 👍🏻🧶🥰

Yo put the handle on that wooden thing. It's for holding a wound hank so you can hang your yarn off your wrist when you knit/crochet.
