@@ObsessiveAudio It's great to have a pallet of sound options to choose from. I like to match the console emulation with the type of project I'm producing! YOU ROCK Eric, Thanks again! 🎶🎹🎸
I was hanging out for this update like a lot of people but with no channel comp, gate, expander, auto release or bells I´m still better off with my SSL that came with my UC1...that workflow is gold. I found Sand comparable to the SSL...not better or worse, just different but with Sand having less features. I´d love it if they released a version with the full featured G or E console with their Aria engine or even something thats a more innovative take on SSL
It sounds awesome. Night and day transparency from other strips like the SSL Native CS2. But dang, the UI feels like its from 2005! Acustica, PLEASE upgrade the quality of your UI's (and add Autogain!!)
No SSL does not use auto-release it have never been that way. It does however have auto-gain compensation and a fixed attack, with a push-pull knob for fast-attack mode.
Wow what great demo, it sound very very real to me. Also great song!!
Thanks! The SSL sound is perfect for the 80s style.
Have you try it please?
Eric, I always look forward to your reviews! I'm definitely going to get the Sand 4 Ultra... thanks brother! 🎸
Thanks so much! This is a great release if you like the SSL sound for sure. 🎸

There is a channel comp, which can be switched to bus comp on the fly. Just no gate or expander.
They added auto relise today in an update
Why not show the plugin on all instances and master bus. We need to hear the whole mix

a temporary auto release is now added and the final version will be adde maybe Friday :-)
@@2grandbaby854 my ssl mixbus from ssl does have auto release clearly written on it
@@hettovennik2887 oh that would be better - i do like to use one
But very bad point the CPU
But like all your plugs in it probably just kills the c p u
On a modern CPU, it really doesn't create any issues at all. Like I said in the video, 13 instances are using less than 20 percent CPU.
Do some channels and freeze some tracks... ;)
this is actually very low DSP I just got it....
