Heck, evil March might be the major event that'll lead to Cyrene's playable form. This is just a theory of mine since there's a lot of foreshadowing with March and Elysia ever since the start.

Correction: Elysia was not among most popular Honkai characters. She still is. Last time it was counted, she was second only to Kiana in female characters. I like the idea about Cyrene having other form and guessing design changes similar to Sunday. Remember how looked Sunday in story? And how they changed his look to be more colorfull, polished and fancy? I bet this will be Cyrene case as well. If you look closely at her npc model, she looks like wearing white antique long dress and jacket like top with lousy sleeves. I bet her true form will suit Amphoreus and she will end looking like beautiful muse-like character in white dress. Since Cyrene is an expy and isnt Elysia herself (sadly), i dont expect her looking like Herrsher Ellie, because that look will not suit Amphoreus theme. Probably wont fit well in HSR at all. Thats actually good for her, since it means hopefully different fate than Elysia and opening a lot of space for her own development, so even people that doesnt know anything about HI3rd can love her, which i hope and im excited for. In the end despite i would like to see Elysia in HSR, i like Cyrene as her expy and beeing presented as brand-new character, with own story and fate and will save and pull for her. So: Is she Elysia? No, almost certainly not. She is 100% her expy tho. Is she beautiful and must pull? Yes Will i sacrifice all for her because she is expy of my favorite character (If i dont count Kevin and Kiana)? Definitely Will i wait almost entire year (yeah 8 times patch period is almost 3/4 of year if she follows Sunday's case) for her? Hell yeah
