Can you cut up an Alloy wheel with a plasma cutter?

In this video I attempt to cut up an aluminium wheel with a cheap 40A plasma cutter. I want to be able to have small chunks of the wheel that will fit into a crucible for melting it down in my home made furnace. This is certainly pushing what you can do with a plasma cutter.
