Thank you so much. It was such a shame Amanda was working, but that means we will definitely get Christmas together next year. It is certainly a beautiful place to visit. Thank you for your continued support, and have an awesome new year.
So sorry to only get around to watching Chris, always ALWAYS enjoy your walks and talks!! Bless Amanda, I hope she had a good shift though, just sorry that it was over Christmas. Hope you both had some lovely downtime before or after! Thank you for the excellent hike, stunning views!!
@PinnedonPlaces it would have been a lonely Christmas Day but we made up for it Boxing Day. I hope you have had a great New Year and I look forward to following you in 2025. Thanks for watching.
Love your hat and Christmas earring, very festive. Enjoyed your walk. Stunning views. Was surprised to see that there were quite a few out walking. Thank you for sharing. Hope you are having a great Christmas and wishing you all the best for the new year ❤
Hi Chris! You found another trig! You had some great views up on top of the hill. The reservoir looks really nice too. Love the earing! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Happy New Year! Anita. 👍🙂
@@blendedtravels it was a beautiful view from up there Anita. I was on my own at Christmas as Amanda was working, but I really enjoyed the hike. Happy New Year.

Morning Chris 😊 A nice Christmas Day walk. The Peak District does have lots of those nice mossy covered rocks. Liked the hat and Christmas earring. Still very busy even for Christmas but I think it’s nice seeing so many people out enjoying the outdoors. I bet your right about mam Tor bet it was still super busy. Merry Christmas Chris 😊
There was a gent filming a time-lapse on Win Hill, and he said that he was at Mam Tor at sunrise and it was packed. I just love the Moss, the decaying trees. Things that others wouldn't look twice at. There were quite a few on the path by the Dam wall doing their Insta pose. I just thought, what's the world coming to. I hope you had a great Christmas, Yasmin. Have an awesome weekend and a happy new year.
I just checked your channel- and I can't find my comment- I thought I'd watched this and I had. So here I go again....fabulous way to spend a solitary Christmas morning. Hats off to your wife and the important job she has. Christmas was surprisingly warm here too Chris. Loving your energy. Gorgeous views. Thanks so much for this video- I so enjoyed it ( twice 🤣) Happy 2025 Chris. That you may hike on many more trails and share your experiences. 👌🇳🇱🙋♀🥝
Hello Chris, love your Santa hat and earring. You made it Chris up to Win Hill, lovely views from up there. Quite a few people out and about on Christmas Day, take care and a Happy New Year x Julie and Tony x
@gallivantinggalantes it was a lovely hike. If Amanda hadn't been working, we would have spent the day together. But at least she won't be working next year. Happy New Year.
Good lad Chris for both the festive earring& hat and the fact you got out on a hike on Christmas Day! Bless Amanda for working Christmas Day! Wow few people coming up behind you! Great festive trig face! It doesn’t surprise us Mamtor was packed! ‘Half way down or half way up’ Niether up nor down (can’t get the song grand old Duke of York out of my head now 😂) Eeww mud! This really is a great second best, shame about home cross! Glad you didn’t fall over! Being up at the crack of Dawn up mamtor doesn’t float our boat either! Great channel Chris can’t wait to see where you take us in 2025! All the best 👍

Good to be out at Christmas time as a break from self-indulgence. You were lucky with the weather. Here it's been gloom and mist; not only are the tops of the moors obscured, but so is the bottom. Oh for better days!
