I ordered mine with the loop. I had the following thoughts in mind. I could remove the loop if I didn't like it, but there was no way to add it later. I also figured that the loop could be used to 'anchor' the wallet to a belt loop or something similar if I were in a pickpocket-prone area. I have yet to watch a review where that capability is mentioned. Kind of reminds me of Harley riders with their wallets chained to their jackets back in Brando's time.
I stuck the wingman on the front of my groove life. Now i have grip on the front to slide the mechanism. And i have room for more than 2 extra cards compared to the GL leather accessory. And to top it off, i stuck a magsafe magnet ring on the back, so now I can stick it on my iPhone if i want…
I just ordered 2 of the Wingmans. I have an Ohsnap wallet. I just don't like the money hangout. I plan to attach it to the cover plate. I have an Ekster, plan to add one to that also. Glad I watched this review for the idea
I think instead of marketing this as a wallet, they should call it a personal defense device. Instead of cards, fill it with razor blades. When a thief demands your wallet, you can pull this out and shoot the razor blades at them! 👍🏻
I own one of these as does my brother. Neither of us have issues with the cards falling out. Probably because we keep the wallet facing upward. Kinda like when you used the other wallet
Hi, when do we think the presentation will be fixed? Also, the trigger should be the same material as the wallet. No plastic pieces. Make it made to last. Regards, Erik Droll
Hi again, can you touch base with grip6 and see when these issues will be fixed. One thing I forgot to mention is that when the cards are displayed, if I was to turn it upside down the cards should not fall out. No, plastic pieces.
A nice slow squeeze controls the cards nicely, however that loop is a lot of fun, works nicely with a Laynard and I am loving that , Had the trayvax and it eats up your cards quickly , always needing new ones. Got the Red with the double wingman .
I still prefer the groove life version of the box wallet - waiting for a version 2 of that with a textured place for your thumb so it's easier to eject cards.
As a company, they refuse to learn from their mistakes. Great that they kept manufacturing in the US and that they create their own machinery, but I will not pay for their R&D. A version 2 that has the same issues as version 1 is a failure in my book, especially since companies like Esker, Secrid, and Code 118 already perfected this type of wallet.
Bought the grip6 because I didn't like the band on the ekster. Get the grip6 and angrily look for confirmation about my cards shotgunning out. Come on here and find all my people. Ekster with a wingman seems to be the answer 🤣
I thought I looked thoroughly for videos like this. How did I not see it before? This is exactly the issue I have with the wallet and it makes it AWFUL. I immediately returned it. The ekster is better in everyway.

@@gamingsectre1534 I haven't had any problems. It is on the expensive side. It struggles to hold the embossed cards. The sidecar I put on works really well with helping the wallet hold and hide money and addition cards.
The way the cards can shotgun out makes it seem like this is the chinese knockoff of the original. It's too bad, and would seem like the first thing to fix when designing version 2. I always want to like box wallets but I never think they are right for me. I want more flexibility, but I also would like having a trigger or button. The wingman does make this more interesting and serviceable,, but I think it is kills the aesthetic of the box. I guess I am never happy.
Call me critical, but a wallet that spits your cards out all over the place may not be the best wallet on the market! This is more then a "minor bug".....too many alternatives which do NOT spit your credit cards out, when ejected, let alone they also fan them out for you to easily choose the one you want.
Wow I was very quickly talked out of this wallet just because of how the cards come out. Damn I really liked it up until the fanning part

Oh, that’s a clever cross-over!

I added the wingman to my ekster. Eksters band moves too much. Much happier now.

That is a bummer. I really like their belts. I was hoping the wallets would be as good

Bought the original grip 6. Cards came out constantly because of accidental button engagement. Back to my leather wallet within 2 weeks

They added a textured grip tape you can add to the wallet now.
The leather sleeve looked way cooler
It’s turned out to be a favorite that many are buying for use on other wallets

Which of the brands me tinned do you prefer and why? I'm looking for a new wallet.
No flaw in these wallets, no complaints here. The grip6 wallet I have the loop cracked after 4 years and they have offered to replace. Great company
I ordered the wingman and put it on my Ekster Aluminum wallet. Much better than buying a whole grip6 wallet with cards flying out👍 $15 bucks.
How has that glued lasted?
@@ermal6157 It's perfect, and I'm pretty rough with it. No issues at all. Very strong adhesive
How has it held so far?
@MaximilianBerkmann Still on and strong. No issues after 9 months

See how well this brand holds up once friction strips are added, idk they might already be too late.
Not my jam. Refuse to quarter my snaps. It’s a condition I have. 🤦♂️🥺
Thanks for the review!
When I win the wallet giveaway I want one of those walletopia cards too
Done!

Very nice!
How has your ohsnap wallet held up I'm tempted to get one but reading sketchy things about the lever quality

How has the glue held up?
The glue has been great. I thought the magnet might not hold on with the Snap wallet but I haven't had any problems yet.
Love the loop
Isn’t this the third version of this wallet?
Technically yes. They abandoned the Kickstarter version really fast, so I call that v.5 😁
Adhesive? 🤨 Glad I got the leather sleeve version.
Added a Wingman to my Code 118 wallet. Way better than the backplate they and Ekster sell.
Is the code 118 made in USA or China?
Soooo.... Just zero functionality? Love this company, I've been wearing the same belt from them for 5+ years, but my God are they slow to fix issues
To funny when it's ejected I'll hold on to my esker
Possible the cash just folded half to put in the wingman?
No, it needs to be in thirds or fourths to work.

FIRST! UNO! No.1!

Grip 6...love their belts! Their wallets are a joke.
Cash strap looks cheap! And the adhesive wont hold over time!! Very cheapy made for what it cost!
Big no Mark!!!
Customer service sucks!!
The wallet is not worth a review. Lame product.
