  • Here is my quick and easy traditional Pakistani chapli kabab recipe.
    Ingredients
    1 kg beef mince (25% fat)
    3 medium Onions chopped fine and drained
    4 green chillies
    Fresh coriander
    2 tomatoes
    2 tbsp garlic and ginger paste
    1 tsp crushed bishops weed (Ajwain)
    2.5 Tbsp Crushed Coriander Seeds
    1 Tbsp Crushed Cumin Seeds
    1.5 Tsp Pomegranate Seeds OR Powder
    2 tsp red crushed chillies
    1 tsp cumin powder
    1 tsp garam masala powder
    1/2 tsp ground black pepper
    Salt to taste
    1 egg
    2 tbsp plain flour
    Method
    -Add the mince to a large bowl
    -Chop the onions finely and drain water using a cheese cloth
    -Chop the green chillies and fresh coriander finely and add to the mince
    -Finely chop tomatoes (removing the seeds) add them to the mince
    -Add 2 tbsp of crushed garlic and ginger
    -add the crushed bishop weed, coriander seeds, cumin seeds , black pepper, garam masala, salt and pomegranate powder
    -Add the crushed chillies
    -Add the egg
    -Add 2 tbsp plain flower
    -Mix well for 5 mins and marinate for a few hours
    -Shallow fry on medium heat until golden brown
