I love that the Lush employees who make the product get to put their name and face on the packaging--it makes it much more personal. Violeta made my Dark Angels cleanser, and it's awesome that I got to learn a little more about her!
Ahh that makes me so happy! Violeta is the sweetest person ever :) She's been working at Lush for years and really loves it. Thanks so much for watching, @MeowMix
I live where lush was invented in th uk and it always makes me proud of this company and how it grew from such a tiny shop on the high street to a worldwide business
I have never bought or used any Lush products, but I'm now inspired to try a few of their cleansers. Herbalism, Angles on Bare Skin, Grease Lightning, and Aqua Marina all look/sound awesome.
This cleanser is honestly my holy grail. Sometimes I dont use it because im lazy and I notice my skin breaks out, this completely clears it when I remember to use it every day
Cindy My aunt used to work there... I was allowed to walk around in the lobby of the factory and I already had a headache. I don’t get headaches like ever so I can’t even imagine what it’d be like in the actual heart of the factory.
Am I the only one who has had customer service problems when I went to their store? I really love their products but something about the company just doesn't feel right.
Morgan Violet Hart I've never had a problem, could differ from country to country though. I'm from England and they're not pushy at all, they ask if they can help and they listen to you and help, I never feel pressured to buy anything.
+-Emmy -12- Yeah now that you mention it, they definitely were not interested in getting to know anything about me at all. I thought it was somehow my fault, but it is probably because they were just more interested in the sale than in me. Happened on more than one occasion so I think they're trained that way. Not that they need to. The products speak for themselves with how well they work. But it still turns me off to the company.
I have a friend who works at lush right now for the christmas time. She said that for every customer they HAVE to demonstrate at least 6 products, like putting lotion on you, showing you how the bath bombs work etc. I guess some ppl are more aggressive in completing this task and others are more sensitive to the customer?
+Jacki Huntington It wasn't that I was being aggressively sold was the problem. It was just they made me feel bad for who I was and it didn't real feel like my needs as a customer were really considered, even after I bought their products a few times. I think maybe just trying to make the sale had a lot to do with it, but me trying to convince a manager to treat me better doesn't sit well with me. They should do that from the start.
Where did you go? The ones where I've been, the employees have of course shown me other stuff but I don't feel pressured to buy anything and they're certainly not rude
they reuse their containers if i'm not wrong!!!! they encourage you to collect the containers and return it to them and you get a free one in return. then they reuse the containers for new products
I love Lush, but the ingredient "fragrance" skeives me out! I want to know what I'm putting onto my body... if they disclosed, I'd use their products 100%.
If you go onto the website it will tell you what ingredients are fragranced naturally. I make my own bath products and I use the same ingredients for scent and moisturising etc. purposes

Listening to Violeta speak, I'm pretty sure she's Filipino! Love that Lush employs a lot of Filipinos. ♥

There is so much packaging! How does Lush approach waste management?
