Yes, back dragging in float works well. Going forward, unless on something really hard, definitely digs in. Most of the time, I don't use the float while back dragging. Thank you for watching, and have a wonderful evening 😀
Liked and now subscribed. Could you provide a price range of what you charge in your videos projects? Would be great to get an idea of what the average joe should be paying or charging.
Thank you for watching, I try not to discuss price on my videos. I try not to help my local competition have any advantages over me. Thank you, and have a wonderful evening 😀
@StevenDiSilvestro-ve6ru the first 2 loads were what we call 4" minus the rest is 3/4" minus. The 4" gives a good base and the 3/4"- packs in well and gives a smooth surface. Thanks for watching, and have a wonderful day 😊
I noticed you’re the only 040 tuber with metal tracks. You like them more than rubber for any particular reason? I’ve been going back and forth on the KX 033 and the 040. My lot has a lot of slope. Any input would be appreciated 👍🏼
The steel tracks last much longer, get better traction, are heavier and give better stability, they don't kick off as easily and are wider and give better flotation. I have gotten over 5000hrs out of a set on one of my 121's. If you are not on asphalt or concrete all the time, in my opinion, steel is the only way to go. Thank you very much for watching, I hope this helps you. Have a wonderful day 😊
I generally don't use geotextile on an existing road. I also have had poor luck with it on a slope. It also depends on what region you live in. Overall, our soils are fairly stable. Thanks for watching, and hopefully, I was of some help 🙂
I do very much like the steel tracks. Like @aldimore said, for the type of work I do, they are great. They last much longer, better traction, better flotation, and better stability. Thank you for watching, and have a wonderful day 😊

Thank you, my friend
Beautiful view! Great job! Given road access etal, you will be back!
Thank you, and thanks for watching 🙂
I found back blading while floating the blade makes a nice flat grade. It doesn’t dig in like going forward.

Nice work. At what point would you use geotextile? Just curious as my driveway looks excatly like this

@tipperryan you are welcome. Thank you 😊
New here, how do you like your steel tracks?
He is a huge fan of the steel tracks for the type of work he does. Many more hrs of use and better traction.
