    I'm sorry so many people are criticizing you for talking so much... I enjoyed listening to you. So many wrap style videos just have music and go through things so fast with no explanation, whereas you explain how to do it step by step, and I appreciate it even if others don't.

      Hi! Thank you so much for watching. You're SO welcome! This fabric is called "kente print" as opposed to traditional (authentic) kente cloth. I talk a bit more about the difference here on my blog page if you're interested 🙏🏾💗 www.queenadwoascloset.info/daily-fashion-fix-blog/the-difference-between-kente-cloth-and-kente-print?rq=kente%20print

It was very insightful and educational so thank you! 😊 will definitely be checking out more of your posts! May i ask if there is a specific online place you shop for kente print? I’m trying to make my own dresses and skirts but am having a hard time finding some prints- thanks again ❤️❤️

    It's a shame that we have been brainwashed, don't have the confidence nor appreciate our 'natural' hair (texture).

    • @AngBQueenAdwoasCloset
      @AngBQueenAdwoasCloset  6 років тому +2

      Hi Katelyn! This wrap is made of "kente print" not to be confused with traditional (hand woven) "kente cloth." I have an older blog post that discusses the difference between the two (print vs cloth) and a bit of the history in weaving kente in Ghana - bit.ly/QACkenteCloth - Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

    • @AngBQueenAdwoasCloset
      @AngBQueenAdwoasCloset  6 років тому

      Hi Sheree, this fabric is called "kente print" ... Not to be confused with "kente cloth" (which many mistakenly use interchangeably). If you're interested, I have a blog post which goes into the details of kente in a bit more details - www.queenadwoascloset.info/daily-fashion-fix-blog/modern-kente-learn-about-kente-authentic-cloth ... @@AngBQueenAdwoasCloset I see that the fabric is Kente Print, but what about the material itself? Is it a woven cotton? It looks fairly light but has a really nice drape to it. It also looks like it flares out slightly as it goes down from the ties and then has a bit if a sweeping curve to the bottom, is that right? I looked for it on your website and got a page error, but any details you could give would be appreciated!

    Every day nubian women use the ends of their cloth to tie, No special ropes on the cloth in the regular world these dress wraps originated from.
    I won't pay extra for a cord.

      Hey Lorraine G., Thanks for your thoughts. This tutorial is for beginners .. People who would love to begin wearing wraps, but have difficulty creating wrap styles .. Or never have before. You can certainly create looks without the placement of ties. But for those needing assistance, this is just another option. Have a great day
