    Summary:
    1. Start with Small, Achievable Tasks: Beginning the day with simple tasks, like making your bed, can set a positive tone and build momentum for tackling larger tasks throughout the day.
    2. Strategic Task Management: Utilize the Eisenhower Matrix for prioritizing tasks by categorizing them into four quadrants: urgent/important, not urgent/important, urgent/not important, and not urgent/not important, thereby focusing energy on truly impactful activities.
    3. Adopt a Zero-Complaint Commitment: Refrain from negative complaining and instead, choose to actively change, accept, or remove oneself from unfavorable situations, thus promoting a more positive mental state.
    4. Incorporate Mindfulness Practices: Engage in daily meditation practices to enhance focus, decrease stress, and foster a calm approach to handling the day's challenges and tasks.
    5. Prioritize Well-being: Ensure sufficient sleep and manage personal energy efficiently, recognizing that well-being is foundational to maintaining productivity and preventing burnout.

These videos are actually proving really helpful and informative for me. Before the pandemic hit. I’d applied to join the Royal Marines. I got extremely fit, passed my medical and psychometric test. And was about to take my fitness test when the pandemic hit and my application was terminated. Needless to say, I was devastated. Months of intense training and preparation, all for naught. And I started to let myself go. Now I want to rekindle that flame, find my drive and motivation to train hard and reapply. And hopefully these videos will point me in the right direction and give me the drive, focus and mindset to achieve my goal. Thanks Izzy.

Implementing a lot of these habits has been very transformative for my life!🌟
Thank you so much Izzy for laying these out for us in such a concise and informative way, it really puts things in perspective.
The two main things that have really benefited me have been meditation/practising mindfulness and sleep.
Meditation 🧘 has brought a calm and poise to my every day life and it has made me really enjoy being in the present moment. The gratitude I now feel for the little things in life has been magical.
AND SLEEP, has given me more clarity and focus. I notice that when I get 8 hours, my thinking is enhanced and my overall mood is better. It’s like having a secret weapon for my brain. ✨

Wow ! Dr. Izzy gives us a sure-fire formula that is indeed useful to improve our way of life; Day in, day out. I got a copy of the book "The power of Now". People sometimes cannot enjoy their moments anymore because life is hectic, always in a rush. I believe it needs practice and discipline to do all the points mentioned. Doctors are busy all the time. I assume she utilized these tools for her own benefit to cope up with stress, anxiety, etc. and now she shares it with us. Thanks for the tips. Makes a lot of sense.

Maybe it's just my current mindset but I can't say I found much info here on how not to burn out. This sounds like so much extra stuff to try to fit into the day to be productive that after a while of trying to do all of this all the time it will definitely lead to burn out.

Your tips are very helpful for us, l've noted every single tips of you, the 1st tip of making the bed, folding the blanket, it seems like unimportant for people think but it's actually mind tricky and accomplish our tasks at the beginning of the day, so mind can think that 'I can do it', the 2nd tip, note down urgent and important things to four categories is also effective, so we don't have dilemma and can do the things clearly without delaying, the third tip is l like most, negative complaining, l agree this, if we've more excuses and every time complaining can lead to negative thoughts , even if worse, l think it can turn us to depression, self-doubt and causing lack of confidence, meditation and get enough sleep are also very important for us to refresh our mind and soul, thank you Dr Izzy, please share more for us, thank u❤❤❤

The best strategy I have heard yet is taking notes on what is important vs non important what is urgent vs non urgent and what is non urgent and non important. It is important to properly identify these certain things in our lives.Secondly when I think of productivity I think of quality not quantity.People that aren’t that productive still do things of quality,it’s just that people that are more productive in life tend to care more about what they do with there time and how they spend there time.

Hi Dr. Izzy, how I wish I heard that 3rd habit earlier in my first college year. I was forced to enroll in Electrical Engineering by my parents, and I seriously hated math and physics. So my first two years were horrible, all I did was complain about my professors and my college. It really made my mental state become very bad, I could even say I got depressed. But I’ve started to accept it and embrace it now... because I have no other choice. So I highly agree with that point..
Thank you for your helpful videos once again.

I find it curious how people speak of these things called "productivity" and "success" but I can never fully comprehend what they are referring to.
On the other hand, sleep and meditation are two habits that clearly come with benefits for almost any situation. Personally, I would define "meditation" as something rather broad without clear definitions or rules. Any activity, as long as you get some time to think, is rather meditative. How do you feel in regards to such an idea? I am in fact quite curious about any videos you'd be making on that topic.

Thank you for the video, Dr. Izzy! I've been trying to implement time blocking, but it's particularly challenging in my current workplace. My managers tend to schedule impromptu meetings and assign ad hoc tasks unrelated to my routine work. Like they happen so suddenly. "Meet now" or "Please, I want this by today ASAP". This often throws my entire time block off balance and makes my schedule unpredictable. Ironically, when I've addressed the constant interruptions, the advice I get is to "manage my time better." Is anyone else experiencing something similar? I would love to hear any tips or strategies you've found that help navigate these challenges. I have half a mind just shutting off my phone and working in a toilet cubicle.

    Your down-to-earthness is refreshing
But a small note of difference. I still struggle wildly with self-discipline. And I've never ever failed to make my bed unless I'm having an intentional pyjama day.
But someone I know very well, and his wife, never bother to make their bed in the morning but they are both amazingly successful in terms of what they have achieved through prioritisng their efforts to their jobs and family.
How do you square that? I've found it more helpful to listen to Dr Jordan Peterson's 'Tidy your Room, because, especially with work spaces, it gives you a better environmental flow.
    Horses for courses, maybe.
