So, "Preview Mode" lets one write automation "off-line," so to speak? I'm slightly confused, like the poster up above. These changes written in Preview get rendered, or permanently kept? The term "Preview" is slightly deceiving to me; it makes me think of "demoing" something, not really making it permanent. Thank-you. I'm still digging your channel!
The changes you make do not get rendered. This mode allows you to touch anything that can be automated, then write that automation for a specific area (in and out). You can most certainly use this to demo something like you suggested, but you can also use it to write automation.
